  • Can't find a better location!

"We enjoyed snorkeling, fishing, swimming in the pool, relaxing in the hot tub, and barbecues on the deck with spectacular sunsets right in the backyard. We took the short walk into town daily for coffee, restaurants, shopping, farmers market, and great night life (Ocean's, Humpy's and Huggo's are the best). It's a quick drive to Magic Sands Beach and one of my favorite snorkel spots. We even discovered turtles close by! The layout of the house is great with en suite baths for every room and each with equally fantastic views. The crashing waves of the ocean drown out any street noise and the gate keeps the property secure. The ceiling fans kept the house cool enough; we never needed the A/C. Even though the house is old, everything was in working order and perfect for our active family with grown children. Thank you for sharing your paradise. I would definitely recommend this property and we will be back!"

  • Mahuahua Place

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: our family of 10 stayed in the home for 3 weeks. (Occupancy has changed to max 8) The pool and yard is beautiful and we enjoyed the days splashing around! Sunset views from the lanai are awesome and different every evening. The home is nicely laid out and had everything we needed plus more. Would of been nice to have a/c in the master bedroom. I wouldn't consider the basement family room a 5th bedroom and the sofa bed mattress needs replacing. The home is in a quiet cul -de-sac and may not have been the best choice for our family who enjoy being on vacation. Home is located near beaches and shopping. The staff at Kona Coast were friendly and helpful. Overall we had a great vacation!"

  • Amazing Amazing 60th

"filled the house with family and friends from all over the world and the place was INCREDIBLE. I literally cried the morning we had to leave. The suites are all spacious and if you have kids, there is plenty of auxiliary sleeping area. The kitchen was constantly in action thanks to a surfeit of enthusiastic cooks and it more than held up to the task. And the tiki bar area.....man.....don't get me started! The long and short of it is, grab this house if you can. Downside? MTV took it over the day we left to use as a set for a reality series. Here's hoping they don't screw it up!"

  • Best choice

"This home was comfortable, beautiful, spacious, convenient, and reasonably priced with a priceless view of the ocean. For our kids, the sleeping nooks in the loft added a sense of adventure and the pool was the highlight of their trip. The prior reviews are on target on the details so we will just add that although the home is correctly listed as “not wheelchair accessible,” Grandma managed fine. There are no steps into the home from the carport and the kitchen, dining room, bedrooms and bathrooms are all on the main floor. The living room is sunken (2 steps) but we would lift her wheelchair down so Grandma could sit there or on the deck outside. Mahalo to the owners for sharing Hale Wailele. From the lei greeting on arrival to the late checkout because of a flight change and everything else in between, this home was definitely the right choice for us and we have already recommended it to friends and family!"
