"Our family of eight had a great time at the "Stay in Heaven." There are three private bedrooms on the first floor all with their own full bathrooms. Then there are two bedrooms up stairs with twin beds in them (total of 5 twin beds). There was plenty of room for everyone. We loved the privacy the house offered too. Our granddaughters age 1 and 3 could be in the back bedrooms sleeping while the crew was out on the lanai making all kinds of noise. The lanai was where we gathered in the evenings, playing card games etc. There are nice tv's in all the bedrooms and lanai. The foosball table was a major draw for our compeitive family. The town of Kona is walkable but there is also a wiki wiki type bus that can pick you up and drive you into town. Kitchen is well stocked, two washing machines, two dryers too. Great time, great memories."

"This house has everything! Lots of room, all the amenities and in a quiet, small community right near the surf. About half way between Kona and the volcano, so well-located for seeing the park and on to Hilo. The owner was very helpful in providing information on getting there and things to do in the area."

"Overall we had a wonderful stay in this house. Our vacation was a bit over shadowed by the hurricane's this past summer. The owner had a care taker on island who was very helpful in getting us prepared for the [what turned out to be a non-event] and sharing evacuation details with us.
That being said this house might not be for everyone…I will break down the pros/cons.
--Location was perfect. Short easy drive to town, right on the ocean with a swimmable beach less than 5 minutes walk away.
--It easily accommodated our party of 8.
--We had beautiful ocean views and could watch the sea turtles right in front of our house.
--Kitchen was adequately equipped.
--Lots of outside furniture.
--Owner was very responsive and easy to work with.
--Price was incredible for what you got and the location.
--Windows were showing wear and tear from all the sea salt [some couldn't really be opened/closed]
--The worst part was only having AC in bedroom and not one in the common living area. The hurricane made it hotter and muggier than normal, but we had to close the windows every time we left so it got pretty hot. Although all the rooms had fans and it did cool of some at night it was uncomfortable, particular in the separate mother-in-laws bonus room. In all fairness we knew the place didn't have AC throughout, but I thought the trade winds would do a better job of cooling the place down.
--There was a small mix-up regarding having the place ready for our check-in. The owner quickly remedied this and refunded us the first night because of this delay."

"We absolutely adored this house right on the ocean. The view was spectacular - watching surfers from the outdoor kitchen and the amazing sunsets each night were priceless. The location was just far enough out of town to have privacy but yet close enough to be at the heart of everything. The sea turtles became our friends. We would definitely rent this house again in the future. ❤️❤️❤️"
