  • Wonderful Condo!

"We had a lovely time while staying in this unit. We had three adults and two small children, ages 2 and 5, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The little boys loved to run around in the grass just off the patio, and the adults enjoyed napping in the hammock. The owners had everything you might need to enjoy Hawaii, including beach towels, a cooler, sand toys and more. We found the location to be a great starting off point for adventures around the island. The corner unit let in just enough light and it felt very private. The road noise was almost non-existent. We are already planning our return trip! If you are traveling with small children, I do recommend rounding up all the breakable decorations and putting them in a closet right from the beginning."

  • Best Sunset Ever from Lanai

"This condo had the best sunset view ever. It was an extremely comfortable way to end our vacation. Although this is a busy stretch of road, it never felt like there was too much traffic pulling in and out. We really appreciated the security at the property, and we were always able to park near the stairs up to the unit (there's also an elevator, which was much appreciated when we arrived and left). I loved being able to brush my teeth (in the master bath) and look in the mirror, out to the ocean behind me. Also, waking up, opening the curtains and watching the surfers from bed. The condo is clean and obviously well-maintained. The chairs on the lanai were great (both loungers and chairs around the table). This condo really had everything you could possibly need. There were beach towels, both a small and larger cooler, chairs we took to the beach and a boogie board my husband and daughter enjoyed. The KTA down the street was great for stocking up with groceries -- and the condo even had cloth shopping bags (plastic bags are banned now in most of Hawaii). Mike (owner) gave excellent advice on area beaches and we went to a different one each day. I highly recommend this condo!"

  • As Advertised

"This two-level condo is right on the ocean as we had hoped. We often left only the screen closed so that we could hear the surf and enjoy the breeze. The condo is truly updated, kitchen, wifi, flatscreen were all great. It did get warm in the condo especially on the second floor loft where we slept. The nice two-person shower up there is spacious and useful. The condo is quiet - though off Alii Drive, we never heard a single car, it is up two flights of stairs so lugging your gear and groceries up is a bit of chore. There is good grocery and other shopping near by. Snorkeling at the Kahalu'u park down the street a quarter of a mile was outstanding - some of the best on the island. The city of Kailua-Kona was about 10 minute drive up Alii Drive. For some that might be too far, but we liked it fine and did a fair bit exploring further south all the way around to the Volcano. The guest room setup and bathrooms were well designed, though our trip only had two people, I could see taking up to six without too much difficulty - four for sure. The balcony was superb. On the last morning before we left a pod of dolphins put on quite a show in the bay right out front - very special. The pool was OK - not great by resort standards but not bad. Tennis of course is present and I saw a badminton net set up on the grass too. The grounds were pretty much immaculate. This condo backs up to the golf course which is nice - I ventured out in the morning chipped and putted around. The golf course right now is being renovated. This was a very nice condo and one of the most updated in the complex."

  • Parfect place for us

"This is our 3rd trip to Kona 2nd time in Magic sand(different suite) New white paint makes this room bright & clean. New floor tiles are nice. Less than 1min to beach(Magic sand beech) This beach is fun to play with waves, good for snorkeling & swimming. If you are afraid waves then go to Kehalauu beach(5mini drive south) even a small children can enjoy snokeling. There are lot of fish & coral. Front of condo you will see dolphins goes by almost everyday. If you are good swimmer you may be able to swim with dolphins. FM Sony sound dock with Aux Jack. Bring your Aux jack cable with Iphone etc. then you can enjoy your own music. If you like Hawaiian music tune to FM 99.1. Good Wifi connection with no stress. Bed is little soft for me but comfortable enough. This is a older condo but well maintained. Washing machines are ground floor $1.50for wash $1for Dry ,mid day often machines are used good idea to wash your clothes early in the mooning or in the evening. No bathtub only shower, small hot water tank but reheat quickly wait for 10~15 mini for next person. We did not have any problems. We cooked 90% of meals. Compact but good kitchen equipment. This is not a 4star Hotel or Condo however if you are looking for a goooood 180° ocean view ,simple clean practical & inexpensive place to stay this is the place for you. Defiantly stay here again. We enjoyed welcome feeling Many thanks to condo owner (Teresa) ."
