"I can't imagine that you would ever find a better rental at this price. A short walk to the bay, short drive to Two Steps. A great location to explore this part of the island. I know for certain that you won't find a more accommodating, kind, generous host than Kay at any price!! Your cookies are incredible. The thanks so much for letting us stay."

"We stayed at the Dolphin House for one week in late March 2015 and we loved it. The house is beautiful and it is in a very good partially secluded location. It fit our family perfectly; we were my husband and me, our daughter and son-in-law, their three children (aged 13, 8, & 21 mos.), and our son. Everybody loved the house--the beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms quite nice. The spacious kitchen has everything you need for involved cooking and the appliances all worked well. The open and airy living/dining area and small office/library area were comfortable and well equipped and the small lanai is very nice. The ground-level private eating area with barbecue, full laundry, equipment room, and landscaped yards are useful bonus features. The house is very close to Manini Beach Park (two-minute walk), which is a great place for relaxing and snorkeling--there is an opening in the lava rocks that allows for easy access to the bay--the grandkids loved it. Kristin was wonderful to us and she was always available for assistance and advice. Also, very helpful was the Hawaiian docent at Manini Beach Park--she provided detailed information about Hawaiian culture and local history. We loved the Dolphin House and we highly recommend it."

"Delightful hosts, Tony and Stacey were welcoming and helpful. Tons of fresh fruit that we ate at almost every meal. Tony gave us some great tips on site seeing in the area.
The house has great access to the highway as well as being very close to wonderful snorkeling at two-step. We also were able to take a short drive over to the trail head that leads to Captain Cook's memorial (which we would highly recommend). One night we took a very short drive over to the Sheraton for an excellent sunset meal. Kailua Kona is also very close by, but far enough away that you are in a much more secluded and calm environment.
The outdoor shower was amazing. Very private and excellent setting among the plants. At night it was also great since they have some really nice lighting set up for it.
Property was very clean and well maintained. Appliances were good and we were able to do almost all of our own cooking.
We would definitely recommend this property to our friends. It's especially good if you love the outdoors and being close to nature."
