"The condo is exactly as it's photographed! Beautiful furnishings and artwork, well maintained and the owners were very accommodating. I would stay here again during the Whaling Season just to see them come across the lanai and view them closely with the telescope. Our 40th vow renewals were in the park beneath our condo and everything was perfect! Mahalo for the beautiful condo! We had the 3-course $30 dinner at the Sheraton's Rays on the Bay and that was the highlight of our trip. The rays were attracted to the lights and performed for us!"

  • Great vacations

"It was perfect. We were expecting a nice condo ocean front but what we didn't expect was how well stock it was : tupperware, ziplock, diswasher soap, laundry detergent, spices, flashlight, cooler, beach chairs, etc. everything you can think of is there. These small details really made our stay easier and kept us home at night for nice dinners on the lanai. If you plan on staying in KONA this is probably the best location: near the main road but far enough from the street so you don't hear anything. The resort is 2 minutes from a grocery and pharmacy, a farmer's market on Saturday morning, 15 minutes to Costco and Walmart, 10 minutes to Kona village, etc Returning to Big Island we would not hesitate to return and recommend it to everyone with only one consideration: there is no A/C. During our stay it was really, really warm and humid close to 100F so A/C would have been an added value. We were sleeping with all the doors open and the ceiling fans. For us it was OK but it might not be suitable for everyone. We've asked questions around to understand if it was August weather and got all sorts of answers so still don't know if it was the normal weather or not. As for Big Island we stayed two full weeks and still have many things to explore and discover. Beside the Volcano, the snorkeling, and the beautiful beaches we went Stargazing at Mauna Kea and this is an experience we will never forget. Read Big Island revealed and enjoy!"

  • Family Fun

"Our family of five began our Hawaiian vacation here last week. We have two teenage boys and a pre-teen girl. The condo was in a great location for our active family. We did beach activities for two of the four days we were there and the equipment provided helped us make that time worry free. We were able to find great boogie boarding action about 30 minutes north and great snorkeling about 30 minutes south. Additional access to shopping at the top of the hill was very convenient. The condo was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. When I booked this in November, I was a little worried about no a/c. My worries were unfounded. The design of the condo provides for plenty of air flow and the condo stayed very comfortable. The dealings with the owners was top notch and very timely. We would stay here again if we are fortunate enough to return to the big island."

  • Wish we were still there!

"From our first contact with Sandy to our actual stay was the most pleasant experience. Sandy was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The condo’s view was absolutely breathtaking and the sunsets from the lanai were spectacular. We stayed in Hilo one night and couldn’t wait to get back to the condo and its view. We had a small issue with one of the toilets but Sandy’s local contact Jeri (who was also extremely friendly and helpful) took care of it immediately. We had a wonderful time and having the condo as our home during our stay made it that more special. Thank you so much Sandy and Jeri. Aloha."
