  • Perfect!

"We were looking for a place to call our home away from home for the month of January and we found it! This condo lacks for nothing, and Phil is wonderful ~ accommodating and easy to deal with! This condo is a Hawaiian paradise and we look forward to returning for years to come! Would recommend this condo to anyone! :-) Mahalo, Phil!"

  • What a wonderful place to be!

"Coming to this paradise was worth every minute of the long 18 hour flight to Hawaii. When we arrived we quickly adopted to the life here - getting up with the birds, having a great breakfast on the upper lanai, going out sightseeing, snorkeling, exploring the island, finding great places with excellent food and then just coming back home to watch the beautiful sunset. The condo itself is really pleasant and offered everything we needed and reflected perfectly how it was described. It became quickly a home for us. The charming and quiet environment with the super nice view over the tropical garden to the sea is a real nice place to relax and enjoy. The Keauhou Resort has been ideal for us - the supermarket was very close, so we did not waste much time in getting everything we needed. It was so nice to drive up Ali'i drive to Kona for a drink or coffee, or just for walking around. Jackie Rays restaurant is a good recommendation to have a nice lunch or dinner, and the pizza at the Kona Brewery is excellent too, a very nice place to eat. We also very much enjoyed exploring the island - driving up north to the fantastic Hapuna beach or further up to the impressive coastline with the beautiful valleys, seeing the huge Ranches, having a great IPA in the local microbrewery in Waimea. The variety of nature is quite remarkable, of course the volcanos and the park in the south are impressive, but this is not everything. Not far away the tropical forests give a such a contrasting experience. Hilo is just a two hours drive away from Kona taking the Saddle Road and beside the Waterfalls, we found the tropical botanical garden a few miles north of Hilo a real beautiful place. There is so much to see on the island more than we can list here and it is certainly better to read the guidebook. Thanks very much Rudi and Miriam for sharing your paradise with us. viele Grüße aus Deutschland Hoffentlich können wir bald mal wieder hierher kommen! Mahalo! S & W"

  • Great vacations

"It was perfect. We were expecting a nice condo ocean front but what we didn't expect was how well stock it was : tupperware, ziplock, diswasher soap, laundry detergent, spices, flashlight, cooler, beach chairs, etc. everything you can think of is there. These small details really made our stay easier and kept us home at night for nice dinners on the lanai. If you plan on staying in KONA this is probably the best location: near the main road but far enough from the street so you don't hear anything. The resort is 2 minutes from a grocery and pharmacy, a farmer's market on Saturday morning, 15 minutes to Costco and Walmart, 10 minutes to Kona village, etc Returning to Big Island we would not hesitate to return and recommend it to everyone with only one consideration: there is no A/C. During our stay it was really, really warm and humid close to 100F so A/C would have been an added value. We were sleeping with all the doors open and the ceiling fans. For us it was OK but it might not be suitable for everyone. We've asked questions around to understand if it was August weather and got all sorts of answers so still don't know if it was the normal weather or not. As for Big Island we stayed two full weeks and still have many things to explore and discover. Beside the Volcano, the snorkeling, and the beautiful beaches we went Stargazing at Mauna Kea and this is an experience we will never forget. Read Big Island revealed and enjoy!"

  • A Fantastic Holiday

"My wife and I stayed at Stacey's for a month and had 2 daughters, a son-in-law and grandson join us for part of the stay. The place was perfect with great views off all 3 lanais, well stocked kitchen, well stocked beach locker including, chairs, coolers, snorkels, masks and fins. My wife had never snorkelled before so because the gear was there to use I now have a fanatic as we booked 3 snorkel adventures and used the many snorkel beaches almost daily. Since we were there during US spring break the 3 pools including the adult only pool were a welcome luxury Because this was our second visit to this condo development we knew the local area well and took advantage of good restaurants and the many farmers markets for inexpensive local produce. We also got the chance to explore the island in more depth, particularly the snorkel areas and agriculture areas We had a great time and will return whenever we can and have told Stacey that we would love to share her Hawaii home again when we do Mahalo and Aloha"
