"Spent 8 nights there recently. Lots of space and a large lanai with an expansive view of the ocean and sunset; a very nice place to start the morning. Wifi service is good; the TV works well, though we didn't use it much. The location is near a very good snorkeling beach, though it can get a bit crowded during prime time and because it's rocky, it's not a great place to jump into the water.
The pictures accurately show the unit, which is comfortable and feels a bit lived in. The complex is quiet and uncrowded. Two things to keep in mind: In August it can get pretty hot, and because there's no air conditioning the unit got hot too. There were plenty of fans, but sometimes you really do need air conditioning. Also, as is common to many island accomodations, there aren't solid doors separating the rooms (I think this is to allow the air to circulate and cool the rooms). Instead you get sliding screen doors or doors with angled slats. It's not a big deal, but some people care. Also, the best beaches are 30 minutes to an hour north of here, so if you're a beach hound be prepared to do some driving."

"The four of us found this place very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all the things we needed to cook and some extras. We were able to walk to the Sheraton-Kona and the Akule Cafe for lattes, food and sunsets over the ocean. There's a farmers market on Wednesdays in the Sheraton parking lot. After our days of swimming in the beautiful, warm ocean, we absolutely appreciated the peaceful lanai and comforts of this condo."

"I'm in the hotel business, so I know this condo was spotless. From the moment we walked in , we were amazed. This condo was more than what we expected, beautifully decorated and furnished. There was nothing wrong, everything was perfect. It is equipped with everything a home needs. Kitchen is fully operational. We were able to buy groceries at the near by supermarket or keep in mind you can go to the Costco close to the airport and stock up for the entire stay you are here. The condo is easily accessible, close to everything. WE loved, just loved the privacy of this condo! The pool was well taken care of as well as the landscaping all over the condo. We loved the bed, the chair that sits across from the TV too! You can put your feet up and relax in it, even take a nap during the day. We spend most of our time when at the condo outside on the lanai, breathtaking view and so peaceful. I am a morning person, I enjoyed waking up to the birds singing and watching the geckos nearby outside in the trees. Be sure to read up on the owner's recommendations and follow them, daily we took on a new adventure. We very much loved to visit Kaya's store. We are not coffee drinkers but wanted to try the organic coffee here and the organic brioches, very delicious. We enjoyed Bite Me Fish Market, great place for Happy Hour. We dined out and tried out both Huggo's and Huggo's on the rocks. We loved the foods and putting our feet in the sand at "On the rocks". Like the owner says, the taco salad is yummy. The condo offers everything you need, be sure to look around and take advantage of the snorkel gear, beach chairs and shoes, cooler etc...... All these items will come in handy when you are out adventuring, we were very happy to find them at the condo readily available. Best beach like the owner says " Hapuna Beach". You can't go wrong with lounging at the beach!!! Will recommend this condo to all our friends and family and will definitely return, thank you!!!!"

"We really enjoyed our one month stay here. It was quiet and private. We liked that it had its own private patio with a BBQ and a outside table/chairs. It was a great spot for enjoying ones morning coffee or quiet dinner. The condo is away from the hustle of Kona traffic, shops and restaurants. I would recommend this condo very highly. It could, however, be a problem for anyone with physical disabilities since one has to go down one set of stairs to the unit."
