"A lovely property with all the comforts of home. Everything equally as nice as the pictures portray. Very clean with a nice touch of a fresh flower arrangement and a welcoming pound of Kona coffee on our arrival. Kitchen is well equipped to cook at home if you desire. Great outdoor lanai with comfortable seating and a fabulous sit up bar, both overlooking the private pool make for great gathering areas for a family or small group of friends, rain or shine. Central location to explore the Island - rental car is a must."

  • Excellent accommodations

"This condo is certainly as advertised. We found absolutely everything we needed for our stay, including beach towels and boogie boards for the beach. We were even furnished with bath soap, shampoo and laundry detergent. It's convenient to grocery shopping, so we took advantage of the barbeque almost every night. The patio offers a great early morning view of schools of dolphins swimming past, and the sunsets are spectacular. The swimming pool is large and has plenty of tables and lounges, so we weren't bothered by some children who wanted to splash and play at the other end. There were 5 of us (4 adults and a teenager), and we were quite comfortable. The rental process was painless, and the agent/owner was very responsive and easy to work with. I would recommend this rental without hesitation."

  • As Advertised

"This two-level condo is right on the ocean as we had hoped. We often left only the screen closed so that we could hear the surf and enjoy the breeze. The condo is truly updated, kitchen, wifi, flatscreen were all great. It did get warm in the condo especially on the second floor loft where we slept. The nice two-person shower up there is spacious and useful. The condo is quiet - though off Alii Drive, we never heard a single car, it is up two flights of stairs so lugging your gear and groceries up is a bit of chore. There is good grocery and other shopping near by. Snorkeling at the Kahalu'u park down the street a quarter of a mile was outstanding - some of the best on the island. The city of Kailua-Kona was about 10 minute drive up Alii Drive. For some that might be too far, but we liked it fine and did a fair bit exploring further south all the way around to the Volcano. The guest room setup and bathrooms were well designed, though our trip only had two people, I could see taking up to six without too much difficulty - four for sure. The balcony was superb. On the last morning before we left a pod of dolphins put on quite a show in the bay right out front - very special. The pool was OK - not great by resort standards but not bad. Tennis of course is present and I saw a badminton net set up on the grass too. The grounds were pretty much immaculate. This condo backs up to the golf course which is nice - I ventured out in the morning chipped and putted around. The golf course right now is being renovated. This was a very nice condo and one of the most updated in the complex."

"We searched for several weeks and kept coming back to this one on VBRO. It just looked too good to be true, but the more we researched and dug and checked various photo's of the area...well...we took the leap. Access to the unit was easy and a short (easy) drive from the airport...our first impression was - WOW! look at the beautiful and well kept ground. As we walked to the unit there was the ocean! and the view only got better once we walked in. Not across a street, not across a parking lot, and not even with a grassy area between US and the OCEAN! It was RIGHT THERE. We ended up spending a lot of time enjoying the deck...dinner, breakfast and just lounging!! The unit was very comfortable and immediately felt like home...and we immediately knew how lucky WE were to have found such a great place to spend the first week of our vacation. The owners were awesome to work with and took the time to make suggestions. Our trip was in a great part such a success because of them. Thank you Ed and Morgan!"
