  • Outstanding Vacation Home

"We stayed here for a week and were sad to leave. This house is immaculate and perfect for two people. The owners are very responsive to any needs or questions. They welcomed us with a fresh pineapple waiting in the kitchen, which tasted so good we ate two more while we stayed there. It's located between Kona and Volcano in a quiet serene area. A very short drive will get you to Miloli'i beach and a short walk along a trail leads you to one of our favorite uncrowded beaches on the island, Honomalino. There is a good chance of seeing spinner dolphins early in the morning at Honomalino. The grill, washer/dryer, hot tub, and beautiful ocean view sunsets make this house a perfect get away. There are plenty of local food recommendations in a folder on the coffee table, The Coffee Shack being our favorite. The house is one of those places that you're happy to come back to at the end of a long day of exploring on the island. Definitely a home away from home. I highly recommend this house."

  • The Pictures on VRBO don't do this house justice!

"The manager was unable to meet us upon our arrival, but everything was just as she said in our contract as well as other correspondence. The house is very well stocked with all the kitchen amenities you would need for your time there. It is quite the distance to town for groceries so make sure you buy a few staples before you arrive. Once there you'll be presently surprised at what was left from the previous guests. So don't buy the big jar of mayo until you survey what's there. Then make your grocery list. INSIDE: Loved the openness of the kitchen and living room. Nice size bedrooms. Enjoyed how the breeze came in the windows and cooled the whole house off. Didn't need to have an air conditioned house while we were there. Very comfortable! Enjoyed having all the large windows in the main part of the house, couldn't stop looking out of them. We were glad for the washer and dryer, so we didn't have to bring as many clothes. OUTSIDE: Absolutely loved sitting on the deck. One day we sat outside all day and didn't leave. We really liked the reclining lawn chairs on the deck and thought they were comfortable. Hope to find some back here in CO. Got to enjoy seeing the whales. One day someone started ringing a bell from another house and we were wondering what that was all about and then realized it's the bell ring for the whales. I guess when that neighbor sees a whale he lets the surrounding area know there is one in the ocean. How thoughtful! Enjoyed taking the hike to the black sand beach, very beautiful and secluded. Didn't want our vacation to end. Hope to come back some day."

  • Quiet solitude right on the water front

"We really enjoyed this spacious place right on the ocean front. The beautiful turquoise water right off the oversized deck was breathtakingly beautiful. Homes are built on volcanic rock, so it is a kind of stark beauty in contrast the lush/rainy side of the island Be advised that this property is very isolated in a neighborhood a good 30 minutes from restaurants and stores. But we like this quiet, tranquil type of vacation setting, so just perfect for us and very affordable! Since it is often difficult to tell what a place is like from on-line photos, this place is true to its photos. On the water front. There is no house to the north; a parking area is utilized by some locals and tourists to access the water. A house very close on the south side blocks the view of the sunset from the deck, at least the way the sun tracks in December. However, all is private and screened from the neighbor. You can easily walk out to the front of the property to view the sunsets. There is an alcove that has curtains to drop down for privacy as opposed to a defined bedroom. Another bed is a part of the main living area. There is a separate dressing area with closable door for privacy. One of our favorite parts was the availability of good snorkeling gear and a sea kayak. Despite sampling snorkeling sites up north, we realized that what we had just right off the house was just as good. Going north up the coast one day and south another day in the kayak gave us a different perspective from the shore. Loved it and beautiful to be out on the water. Just be sure it’s a calm day, as launching the boat can be trying with the waves. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need for food prep and storage. Given its 30+ minute distance from major stores, though, we stopped on our way from the airport at the Safeway in Kailua-Kona. The Choice Mart in Captain Cook is on the way too and appeared to be a nice store. There is another grocery store just south at Ocean View, about 15 minutes away. Since mosquitoes are a problem, be sure to have plenty of good bug spray on hand. Geckos will visit you in the kitchen. The stars at night are about the brightest we’ve ever seen and the sound of the waves is continually soothing. We would definitely stay here again. Owners were helpful and accommodating. I found out that it had been a family vacation home when built in 1983."

Milolii Travel Tips

Milolii Condo Rentals Provide For a Great Vacation

Kona Coast vacation rentals establish a framework for a beautiful vacation. The flexibility of Milolii vacation homes is great for any type of vacation. Anything from a family of six or a retired couple will enjoy Milolii condo rentals and their amenities, some of which cannot be found in hotels. Staying in one of these rentals is like staying in a nice, unique home in a place that is enviable by many standards.

Stuff To Do For All Ages

While staying at Milolii condo rentals, you will find fun things to do for all ages. Whether you are there to relax or do all you can handle, there should be no problem in doing either or both. Take a champagne sunset cruise for a nice romantic evening. Or parasail over the deep blue waters for affordable prices. The Kona Snorkel Cruise and Submarine Combo takes you on a nifty, 45-passenger submarine and navigates above coral and through schools of tropical fish. After traversing through the water in the submarine the tour takes you on a beautiful snorkeling adventure for three hours. You can take another cool mode of transportation--this time in the air--through a helicopter as you tour the island and its active volcanoes. All of this is close to Milolii vacation homes.

The Beauty of the Surroundings Are Superb

At Milolli vacation homes you will be surrounded by beauty that is almost unsurpassed. The beaches and rivers, forests and mountains will offer you beauty that are unique to Hawaii and the island that you are on. Volcanoes are one of those unique features that you will find on the island. The tropical forests are great for pictures. While near the ocean water manta rays, turtles, and dolphins are seen frequently.
