"Kona Daves condo is everything it is advertised to be. The condo was supplied with everything we needed, clean and the location is great. The complex was quiet until the 14 football players ages 9-10 jumped in the pool but hey kids are kids and it was sort of fun watching all of them. The ocean view isn't straight on but for the $ you couldn't ask for more, amazing sunsets each night and on our last morning the winds kicked up so we were treated to a group of surfers catching the waves? Would definitely rent from Dave again! 🌴"

"My husband and I spent 8 nights at Koa Cabin. We had stayed there several years earlier, and our wonderful memories influenced our choosing West Hawaii for this vacation as well. The location of Koa Cabin is stunning -- a huge expanse of land rich in foliage (macademia nut and avocado trees, beautiful flowering plants) that is extremely private. On the grounds, it is possible to sit at a picnic table outside the cabin, or have breakfast or dinner in the beautiful bamboo gazebo (at night, plug in the light string - magical.) My husband loved reading and dozing in the hammock! We picked up macademia nuts and used the special nut cracker to crack them, eating them with Heide's freshly baked bread and with the papaya, avocado, bananas, dragon fruit, guava and other fruits, piled high in a welcoming basket! The kitchen is marvelous, and it was a joy to create a dinner from fresh Hawaiian ingredients! I loved the sounds of the forest, including the tree frogs! Heidi and Jeffrey are the most hospitable, wonderful , caring hosts I have experienced in years of renting VRBO's. I could go on and on -- and have, actually, to my friends here who certainly wish they could fly to Hawaii and stay a week in Koa Cabin!"

"This condo is awesome! The third floor location gives you a perfect view of the ocean and coastline. We watched beautiful tropical fish as well as dolphins from the lanai. From having breakfast everyday on the lanai to sitting and watching the sunset in the evening. It was the perfect location to set out on a new adventure everyday, from Volcano National Park to Kona to the beaches around Kohala. The condo has everything you need......beach chairs, beach towels, cooler, etc. The washer and dryer were such a bonus also! The building complex itself is older, but the owner of unit 303 has renovated their unit and it is lovely. It has air conditioning, wifi, flat screen TV (which we never even turned on preferring to listen to the waves!) We loved our week in unit 303 and plan on a return visit soon!"

"We have stayed in many VRBO condos, and I have to say that this VIEW, hands down, was the BEST EVER! It was just the two of us and made for the perfect sunset dinners right out the window. Great pool to enjoy, and the ocean right out your front window! We are very particular about even the littlest of things. We had the bright white fluffy towels to the clean fresh lines on the bed. The nicely done kitchen set up, with dishes, glasses, utensils that all went together and has everything you will need to enjoy your picture perfect sunset dinners from your unit. The extra large bathroom all so tastefully decorated along with the rest the of the condo. Yes, it is an older complex, but when you can see that the owner has pride in their unit, it doesn't matter. The grounds, even though small, were immaculate. If we are ever on the Big Island again, I would certainly be looking at Kona Magic Sands #309 again! I would urge those that are looking at rentals, to be very careful when they are going through the filters on any rental. Sometimes, we assume that certain amenities are available when they aren't. Thank you Teresa for sharing your little slice of paradise!"
