"I wanted to add to my wife's review because this property and condo unit really are exceptional. I commented to my wife while we were there that the grounds at Kona Bali Kai are so well kept. There are grounds people there on a regular basis cleaning, pruning and planting. The front of the building facing the street shows very well with attractive signage and a nice color scheme on the paint job.The lobby is very well decorated and welcoming. When entering the complex from the parking garage there is a small fountain and landscaping that gives a sense of peace and hospitality. Having an elevator is a real plus when taking luggage and groceries to one's unit as well as making it handicap accessible. AND the roof is covered with solar panels! I am very impressed with all the improvements to this property over the last few years. They have done a great job of making this into one of the top ocean front properties along Alii Drive. Mike and Katrina have very fair rental rates especially considering the location and quality of the unit. We have finally found a place that we want to return to every time we go to Kona."

"We booked the seaside condo in Kona, Hawaii for a two week getaway; and arrived in the late evening.
In the morning we got a glimpse of the beautiful ocean lapping in, and all the birds
and gecko's; what a treat to wake up to! It was the perfect getaway for us!
The first week we just relaxed, went snorkelling, cooled off in the tidal pools out front,
and enjoyed the scenery of humpback whales breaching, spinner dolphins, and turtles.
The condo was well stocked with coolers, boogie boards, and an umbrella.
It was easy ten minute walk up to the shopping centre for supplies, and a ten minute walk to go snorkelling.
We saw so many beautiful fish, and turtles; a great snorkelling area when the ocean is calm.
The second week we rented a car and explored the island; Waipio Valley, Green sand beach, hiking to Kilauea volcano; so many beautiful black sand beaches to explore! We even took a tour of the Seahorse farm.
Maria was very helpful with answering our questions, and was very prompt with getting back to us. If we had any problems; handyman Bill was there to assist, and offer some great places to go!
We both really loved the condo; very well stocked; great kitchen! Thanks to the owners to upgrade the kitchen;
they did a wonderful job! We really appreciate the opportunity to share your amazing place!
The only thing I might suggest is a barbeque for the condo; there is a shared one on the grounds;
but it is so hard to tear away from the beautiful waterfont!
Excellent trip; we would definately recommend it to friends and family!"

"This studio was perfect for an easy get-away. Its patio looks directly out on to the bay, which offered endless entertainment between the surfers, fish, dolphins and whales. While we went all over the island, we had some of the most fun, relaxing moments just peering out over the bay. There were only two of us, so we had plenty of space in the studio. The full kitchen gave us the flexibility to cook at home, but when we wanted to get out, Kona Town was just a quick drive up Ali'i Drive. Though the studio has neighbors on both sides, we were impressed that the layout gave us plenty of privacy. The owner was very responsive, and easy to work with. We would definitely return, and recommend the studio to others."
