  • Summer vacation

"Great location on the ocean. We enjoyed the swimming pool and watching the sunset together. 10 minutes from the turtles to the south of the condo. Property very new and clean. The entire property is well maintained. Quiet and no noise. It is close to the downtown, shopping and restaurants. We would stay there again. Great holiday, thank you very much."

  • Great vacations

"It was perfect. We were expecting a nice condo ocean front but what we didn't expect was how well stock it was : tupperware, ziplock, diswasher soap, laundry detergent, spices, flashlight, cooler, beach chairs, etc. everything you can think of is there. These small details really made our stay easier and kept us home at night for nice dinners on the lanai. If you plan on staying in KONA this is probably the best location: near the main road but far enough from the street so you don't hear anything. The resort is 2 minutes from a grocery and pharmacy, a farmer's market on Saturday morning, 15 minutes to Costco and Walmart, 10 minutes to Kona village, etc Returning to Big Island we would not hesitate to return and recommend it to everyone with only one consideration: there is no A/C. During our stay it was really, really warm and humid close to 100F so A/C would have been an added value. We were sleeping with all the doors open and the ceiling fans. For us it was OK but it might not be suitable for everyone. We've asked questions around to understand if it was August weather and got all sorts of answers so still don't know if it was the normal weather or not. As for Big Island we stayed two full weeks and still have many things to explore and discover. Beside the Volcano, the snorkeling, and the beautiful beaches we went Stargazing at Mauna Kea and this is an experience we will never forget. Read Big Island revealed and enjoy!"

  • Celebration Vacation

"This house was the perfect place to stay while we celebrated completing our visits to all 50 states, the year of our 40th anniversary, and retirement. We brought our family of 5 adults and 3 children to vacation with us, and this house was great and very spacious. We had everything we needed for preparing breakfast and some lunches. The kitchen was very well equipped. We enjoyed eating most meals that we prepared outside with the beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. Loved hearing the waves crashing and watching the tides roll in and out. There was always some kind of activity in the water: paddle boarders, boats, rowers, swimmers, and lots of sea creatures. We saw several sea turtles, lots of fish, some dolphins, and even a giant eel right below the sea wall. At night, the surf light gave kind of a surreal effect to the waves crashing. The resident lizards made their presence known, and we were okay with that knowing they were keeping the insect population at bay. Yes, there were bugs, but this is a tropical island. Rental car is a necessity since it is away from shopping and sites. We traveled all over the island in the week's time. Most everything is within a day's drive there and back. Make sure you get the patio doors fastened top and bottom. They are kind of tricky to make sure they are completely latched. This was a very comfortable stay, and we are were happy with our choice to stay at this house. Everything in the pictures and description is accurate."

  • Love this condo!!!!!!!

"Had a great week in Kona. The new tile in the condo was a nice addition, we didn't expect it because they weren't in the pictures. We were very comfortable there and truly enjoy the ability to walk directly over to the beach…… About 50 feet away. We also loved the fact that the pool has a nice view of the ocean, and we also BBQ'd out by the pool several nights. We meet some great people there, everybody was so nice. We even got to play tennis (thanks for leaving behind the racquets). I can't say enough about how wonderful your place was. We will definitely be back next year. Thanks so much!!!!!!"
