  • Wonderful setting

"Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed here with 2 12-year olds during spring break. Perfect. 2 pools, one right on the ocean. Beautiful area with lounge chairs and large palm trees on a small private sandy 'beach' - just behind the ocean wall. Well maintained; lovely landscaping. Gorgeous sunset watching from this area. Nice patio with tables, chairs, gas bbq, tiki torches, covered area. Friendly snow bird renters.Unit was clean and comfortable. View of ocean from lanai; saw whales! 2 miles from town, which I liked as it is quiet and low key. Plan to stay again."

  • “Fabulous Stay

"This one bedroom top floor unit perfectly our needs. It's was in close proximity to a fantastic and safe snorkeling beach, Kahalu'u Beach Park. The decor is updated, yet warm. Everything you could need was there, including snorkeling gear and boogies boards, beach chairs, etc. We loved that the beach was right across the street and properties on each side of the complex were vacant and historical. A covered lanai with such a view of beaches and sunsets was marvelous. The complex included a fine infinity pool and hot tub...just the thing after a morning at the beach snorkeling. The Smart TV at times outsmarted me, but property managers April and Jeffery returned my call and attempted to resolve the issue. (There was another TV in the bedroom, but hey... who needs TV with those views in HAWAII?). April pointed out the complex did not include an elevator early on. No surprises. The lockbox allowed us to leave the condo and always have a way back in. Nifty! Yes, there was a bit of street noise, but we'll put up with that for convenience to Sam Choi's and three more restaurants, groceries, pharmacy and more a mere five minutes away! We watched Humpback whales breeching from our lanai, while sipping glasses of wine and eating pupus. How cool is that? We took walks every evening and found something new and interesting every time. Fabulous place , no doubt about it!"

  • Absolutely perfect condo in Kona!

"This condo in Kona Pacific was absolutely perfect. It is quiet and overlooks green space and a little view of the water. The unit is very large and spacious with large lanai (balcony) even with a table setting to dine outside and comfy outdoor chairs. The condo is very comfortable with 2 queen beds in the very large bedroom, 2 bathrooms and a full washing machine and dryer in the apartment. It has its own car parking space but is walking distance to EVERYTHING in Kona. The condo is just as you see it on the net....this block is older but well maintained. The owner Joel is a pleasure to deal with, and any questions you have he is so quick to reply to emails. His customer service is exemplary. We had an issue with arrival time and his help and flexibility with this was terrific. You can walk to all the restaurants and entertainment in Kona.....no need for a car if you just stay in Kona but if you want to explore further afield (and there's so much to see and do on the BIG Island) you will need a car. We loved having some of the basics in the kitchen like oil, gladwrap, salt and pepper and basically a cupboard of other travellers' leftovers....fabulous! There are beach towels, snorkel and beach things...even sun tan lotion was there....maybe leftover from someone else but that's fine. We would highly recommend everything about this condo and feel confident you would not be disappointed. Just be mindful you are not staying in the Sheraton with flash foyers and 5 star sterile clinical perfection. The personal touches, the size and comfort of this condo along with a great owner far outweigh any tiny room in a 5 star hotel. AND the biggest bonus it is such good value. Congratulations Joel you are doing everything right....just keep doing what you are doing!!! We loved it so much and if we return to Kona we would stay NOWHERE else. PS We did have a small issue with a running toilet and emailed Joel and he was on to it IMMEDIATELY with a courteous tradie who liaised with us and Joel and it was fixed almost straight away."

  • Beautiful Condo!

"We really loved this condo. Beautiful view of the ocean and the mountains. The lanai is wonderful and you also have a golf course behind you. It was excellent. It was our first time using VRBO so we weren't sure what to expect, but it was an excellent experience. I would definitely recommend it. I am disabled and cannot use stairs. This unit is a bridge unit, so even though it is on the second floor, you have no stairs. Fabulous. Also, it has full size washer and dryer. Excellent, too."
