  • Amazing View!

"This place has an amazing view and if you have never been to Hawaii, you should choose this place. The vacation would not have been the same without the stunning ocean view. The price is well worth it and since it comes with a kitchen, you will save money by preparing some of your meals at home. We were able to see whales one morning and a school of dolphins another morning over coffee. The location is great, just 10 minutes from downtown Kona. This condo is highly recommended."

  • Great Vacation Rental!

"I came with a group of friends expecting this place to be a fun getaway and once we arrived I realized how much I underestimated the beauty of this home. The pictures on the site don't capture the grandeur of this home and it's surroundings. Immaculate, spacious, beautiful views, and a great place for times when each of us needed some space ... there are so many lanais and little corners in the yard where you can chill out. The homeiness of Tradewinds made it tough to step out and explore the nightlife in Kona Town but of course my friends and I decided we couldn't pass up the opportunity to do so. We certainly didn't regret it!"

  • Oasis in paradise

"Dave and Sally's home is an oasis in tropical paradise. The 3 bedrooms have large patio doors that let in cooling breezes, and lead out to the pool and hot tub, and lanai. These areas all look out to the Pacific Ocean. The view is 180 degrees, unobstructed. No other houses can be seen when you are on the lanai! Fantastic sunsets! While enjoying meals on the lanai, enjoy the view, the tropical birds, and the lush vegetation. The house is designed with natural air conditioning, with patio doors on both sides, to allow air flow. The back lanai has a fountain that the birds like, too. The kitchen is well stocked, the linens nice, and beds comfie. The house is well located for exploring Hawaii, and quite close to some really good snorkeling areas. This is our fourth Hawaiian island to visit, and the most diverse. From the observatories on Mauna Kea to the lava fields of Kileaua, the surfers to the coffee farms, the charm of Hawi and Hilo to the action at Kailua, great golfing options and beautiful botanical gardens, zip lines and boat cruises.....the Big Island has it all!"

  • Quiet and perfect location.

"March 16 to April 1 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, this was our first time staying in Kona at a slightly higher elevation as we have always been down at the Alii Drive level area, and after being up here, it’s the only place we will stay if we make it back to the Big Island again. The cool evening breeze was a welcome relief after a hot day of activities, and the sunsets from the pool or outdoor shower made it all the better. Add to that fresh fruits from the garden and well its someplace you won’t want to leave."
