  • Kona fun

"Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had an amazing time during our time in condo #202 while in Kona. We could have sat out on the patio all day listening to the ocean sounds and you can not get any closer to the water! It was very clean and well stocked. I would recommend to anyone!!"

  • Accurate description and nicely furnished.

"Nice place. Very quiet part of the complex until morning when birds of all kinds start singing....a great alarm clock. We BBQ with friend almost every night at the poolside cabana....so much fun. Thanks you!"

  • It IS Heavenly!

"We've stayed at many VRBO properties world-wide and this was one of our absolute favorites! The house and grounds are beautiful and tranquil. The panoramic view of the ocean in the distance is mesmerizing. The well-stocked gourmet kitchen was another plus. A shopping center is nearby with a nice grocery store and a Long's Drugs in case you run out of "essentials". The property is on a private road, but our party of four never felt isolated, since many of the Kona-side sights are a short to medium drive away. Owner Cindy was incredibly friendly and helpful and dropped by the night before our departure to give us a bag of coffee from her family's coffee plantation. We highly recommend this lovely home! • Incredible stay on the Big Island!

"Beautiful home that worked out perfectly for our first time on the Big Island. Seven in our group, very comfortable. Newlyweds got the lower level suite, and Mom, Dad, two brothers and Grandma stayed upstairs. The house is everything Peter and Darla described. Every day we saw turtles from the lanai or out the bedroom windows. Easy walk to snorkel. Kona is a great base camp to explore the entire island. After being gone several hours, we were so spoiled to return to Hale Honu and truly relax. The evening we arrived, I needed some guidance and sent a text to Peter, who immediately called me and answered my concern. I knew if I needed anything he would be easily contacted and fix any problems. The rooms have extremely comfortable beds, plenty of storage, and the kitchen is wonderful. Staying on the coast was amazing, with daily views of turtles, colorful saltwater fish, unbelievable sunsets, and overall just an amazingly relaxing place to hang out. Thanks Peter and Darla!"
