"Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us. Home was so comfy, equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We checked in at nigh, so thanks for leaving the light on. Walking into softly playing Hawaiian music, fruits and snacks was such a treat. This home was so clean. I am grateful for all the essentials in the kitchen, made cooking and cleaning a breeze. Home is located a short walking distance to the best snorkeling on the Island. Such a peaceful environment. We truly enjoyed our stay here!! thanks again!"

"If you are looking for a very secluded spot near Hawaii Volcano National Park, this is the spot. The house is very tastefully decorated - quality - not full of brick-brack-tack-tack. It is clean and lovely. A perfect retreat."

"We enjoyed our time at Hale Mauna Loa. The house was easily accessible and exactly as advertised. The hot tub is a huge bonus. Overall the house is somewhat dated and could be better equipped (needed trash bags and could be better equipped in the kitchen). This could be easily taken care of with better day to day management. Location is excellent and landscaping is beautiful. We highly recommend!"

"We had a wonderful two nights at the beautiful cottage. Tropical storm Hilda was passing by, so we had a lot of rain, which added to the beauty of this enchanting cottage. Truly magical sitting on the lanai and watching and listening to the rain. My only advice is make sure to get there in daylight. We forgot to bring instructions, phone was dying, and hubby was feeling sick, and it was getting dark! We did find the cottage and was very grateful that the owner returned our call to make sure we got there. Great Thai food close by, and truly enjoyed visiting Volcanoes National Park. Will be back!"
