  • Beautiful Kapoho View

"We immediately fell in love with the arrival in the house. It has a lot of charm and is very tastefully decorated. The kitchen is huge. The covered porch is a dream, just like the view. On listening to the birdsong morning, just wonderful. The whole booking process was very friendly and very well documented. Will be back soon! We hope we can come again. Much obliged."

  • Amazingly Fun & Relaxing

"This place was just so wonderful!!! We had 2 couples in our party and there was plenty of room for all of us to relax and enjoy this fabulous home. The lava rock pond has wonderful healing thermal spring waters and we were in it all day long. The Champagne pond down the street was a lot of fun as well as the tide pools close by. This house has all you need to enjoy & have a great vacation. Thank you Kathy for thinking of everything!"

  • Made Memories that will Last Forever

"From a Guest who visited right after we had a tropical storm that knocked out power to this area for weeks: We had a wonderful time, no complaints of any kind and my family members were all so appreciative of everything that was done to keep us safe and happy--I can never thank you enough. I wanted our visit to be perfect--we all agreed we would not have changed one thing--we had weird meals-- making coffee on the grill was quite an experience, and made you really appreciate your first cup in the morning--but that only added to the fun. We sat outdoors in the evenings and watched the stars, ever mindful that we were seeing some of them for the first time, as our atmosphere is not so clear--we laughed and joked and made memories that will have to last us forever, because we will never be able to do that again. This was a truly once-in-a-lifetime (mine) event and I pray that I never forget one moment. It was a joy and privilege to meet you, very thoughtful of you to check on us. Aloha, in every sense of that beautiful word, The M Family"

  • Awesome bedrooms, underequipped kitchen

"We (6 adults, 2 children) rented this home for a week. The home is quite nice with two ponds in the backyard. While the grounds are small they feel larger because the owner owns this home and they neighboring home with the combined effect of a larger property. The real winners at this property are the bedrooms which are large, airy, and equipped with really nice bathrooms. The lower levels common areas are small and poorly laid out with a fair amount of wasted space on the back lenai which would be better served in the kitchen area. The kitchen is tiny and not quite adequate for home's 8 person capacity. We noted in particular that the kitchen could use some basic investment (less than $200) in dishes, utensils, sharp knives, kitchen towels, and other basic items (such as a water pitcher). We have noted in the past the properties managed by an agency tend to be more frugal on such items than properties managed by owners. While you can contact this owner directly via VRBO the property is largely run by a management company. Overall this property is great with fantastic access to the tide pools, but if you're going to cook a lot or have a large group you should prepare to be frustrated by a lack adequate basic equipment."
