"We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It is away from the touristy areas, and very peaceful and quiet. It is beautiful and the sound of the waves and ocean breezes is a great combo for awesome sleep! It was a great place to branch out to see the Hilo area, and also the Puna shoreline. Nice area to walk down the streets. Would be a great place to ride a bike as well! Would love to go back someday."

"There was a lot of space and the accommodations were good. The view and sound of the ocean was absolutely beautiful. It was very enjoyable sitting out on the lanai. All the needed items such as kitchen items, towels, bedding, etc. were well supplied. With that said, I must add the following. I have stayed in 2 other properties of yours and the condition and cleanliness of each rental was always excellent. This one was not. The floors were not swept up well. The metal rack which sits in the sink was very dirty, areas around sink were dirty. The 1st bathroom, down hall had a shower curtain that had mildew on it. There was a lamp in the living room that had no bulb. Just thought you might need to know these things as I have never found such conditions all the other times we have stayed in your rentals, which as I recall was about 5 different times. All in all...we had a wonderful stay! Aloha..."

"We've been staying at this house for many years. It's not only a great place to relax at the end of a busy day, it's also a great place if you don't want to do anything! We've spent the entire day just hanging out watching dolphins, turtles and whales from the shaded lanai.
Don't let the lack of A/C scare you away. It isn't needed as long as the windows are open to catch the ocean breeze. Also, there are ceiling fans in every room.
Quiet street perfect for a leisurely walk or a brisk run. You can even hike up the coast from the end of the street. That's a great way to spend the day. We love the neighborhood so much we bought a lot nearby.
Why stay at a hotel when you can have so much more here?"

"We have stayed at Hale Lehua twice now and it is a great place to relax after a long day exploring. Everything is provided that you could possibly need. It is quiet, peaceful and cozy. The private lanai is my favorite part of the house and we spent our mornings there eating breakfast and evenings sipping cocktails listening to the coqui frogs. The layout is great and it's a bonus it has two full baths. Jeana is a fabulous caretaker who made herself available for our questions and needs. She really goes above and beyond. I would highly recommend Hale Lehua. You will not be disappointed!"
