"We had a very warm welcome in this wonderful house with great ambience. Everything has been thought through, we didn't miss anything. Immediately when entering the house you can only be charmed by the immense living and dining room facing the sea with its crashing waves. It was great for resting and walking around on the lava shelf. The whole family was really happy and we recommend to all our friends - Mahalo!"

"An experience within the sounds, smells, and tastes of the true green tropics, just in walking distance of a high wild cliffside beach front. At the beginning of the Red Road an amazing and true authentic tour for several miles through lush greenery was one of my favorite experiences. It was also a true "dream come true" about experiencing the tropics. The location is private, away from crowds, yet close enough to do many various sight-seeing and vacationing tours. We will always remember our experience there. It was one of the most memorable vacations I've experienced. Yes, I would only recommend this treehouse bungalow if you have an easy time climbing stairs and if you are in good shape. The reason for the four stars is because I rarely give five stars, and sorry, I'm sensitive to soft mattresses. Everything else was lovely, and I would go again."

"My husband and I stayed here for 21 days and it was Wonderful. There is no television But there is Wi-Fi. I enjoyed the soaker tub with shower. Loved the many fresh fruits and avocados, walking distance to the kehena beach and short drive to warm pools and tide pools as well as Pahoa village (Nings Thai food was great). Loved Makuu and Pahoa markets(kind of like a weekly flea markets) and uncle Roberts for local entertainment. A car is needed but I suggest checking to rent one from local instead of rental place.
This is a Wonderful place to stay full of nature.
Thank you Dave for your kindness, glad to have seen the newly hatched ducks."

"We inquired about another property which was not available. when Andre offered us this one. It was a short stay, but very comfortable and enjoyable. The house is spacious and nicely appointed and equipped. The location was pleasant contrast to bustle of Waikiki from which we came. Andre was very helpful in getting us to the place and settled. With Andre's advice we were able to accomplish all our objectives--Kilaeau day and night, waterfalls north of Hilo, a ride around the south and west coasts, stargazing on Mauna Kea, and snorkeling in the tidal pools."
