"A great place to stay, while it is away from any shops and restaurants it is close enough to be able to go out for dinner to Hilo or Pahoa or,if you wanted to, buy supplies and cook. The property is very clean and big enough for the whole family or multiple couples. The deck areas on level 2 and 3 are excellent to entertain or just sit back and enjoy the views.
Champagne ponds was amazing to swim in, we spent a lot of our days there in the crystal clear waters just a short walk away.
We enjoyed our stay even though it was quite warm due to unseasonally high humidity which made it difficult to cool down during the nights as there is no air conditioning."

"We had such a nice stay. Out of each window is a beautiful view of beautiful tropical plants or the ocean. You feel you are in seclusion however, there are houses are each side. We met one neighbor who was incredibly friendly and wanted to help us prepare the Bread Fruit that was growing in the front yard. However, we were leaving that day. My 9 year old son would now like to tell you about the pond. I think it is good for snorkeling because there are lots of fish and frogs and you can see the frogs swim. The pond was also lava heated so it is very warm and you can open your eyes underwater and not get hurt! I am back- we also enjoyed snorkeling in Champagne pond- it is easy to get and out and good for young and old who afraid of snorkeling."

"Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us. Home was so comfy, equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We checked in at nigh, so thanks for leaving the light on. Walking into softly playing Hawaiian music, fruits and snacks was such a treat. This home was so clean. I am grateful for all the essentials in the kitchen, made cooking and cleaning a breeze. Home is located a short walking distance to the best snorkeling on the Island. Such a peaceful environment. We truly enjoyed our stay here!! thanks again!"

If you want to unplug in paradise - this place is for you!
"The fabulous pictures in VRBO are, if anything, understated. This place was beautiful and spotless. We felt like we were renting a villa more than a house. Our last stay in Hawaii was on Maui at a hotel - total tourist land. This was the polar opposite. Really secluded and connected to nature. My family of four (two teenagers) stayed nine days and everyone simply loved it. Lots of space for us to be alone if we wanted. Really relaxing."
