  • Work Trip

"Needed a place to stay close to Hilo, HI for work that was priced reasonable. This was just the home, had everything needed and the home had everything stated in the description. Was a little concerned about the lack of air conditioning but it was not a problem, it cools off at night and the master and living room ceiling fans worked great. I will be back in this area for a month later but this home is already booked. The house is very secluded, from the home you can only see a few other roofs and part of the road, you feel like you are alone in the jungle of Hawaii. The lanai is the place to be when here!! Thank you!"

  • Awesome lagoon

"Our family really enjoyed staying at this house. We used the ohana as well. The lagoon and trees and setting was just perfect. Very easy access to the Champagne pond (walking distance) and the tide pools (driving). The rental agent/manager was a dream to work with and super responsive to our needs. Clean and well cared for property. Highly recommend this house if you are looking for one in this area. Also, don't miss driving the "red road" and doing the activities that the managers thoughtfully put together with the rental package. How nice is that."

  • Perfect Spot off the Beaten Path!!!

"We really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in the upstairs part of the house and had plenty of room. Nice big living room and kitchen area with a very modern feel. I thought it was decorated very well with plenty of taste and suited our needs perfectly. More than enough cooking utensils with pots and pans and appliances to make anything you want. The house was very clean and well kept along with the neighborhood and general area. Has a large wrap around porch to sit out and enjoy the beautiful weather. The ocean was just a short walk across the street and can be seen from the porch. There is a nice little pond literally on the side of the house that wraps through a few of the neighboring houses that we swam in (has concrete steps right next to the house to get in). We split our trip up into 3 nights at this place and 3 nights in a condo/resort on the Kona/Waikoloa side. At the end of the stay we all wished we had just stayed here the whole time. It was very convenient to see the all Volcanoes and the waterfalls, rain forests, warm springs down the road, and botanical gardens. I think the Kona side is more "trendy" right now for tourists, but this side of the island is the true Hawaii for me. Thanks Jeana."
