  • True Hawaii Experience

"If you are ready to get away from the crowds and experience the real Hawaii, this is the place for you. Set in the middle of 3 acres of rainforest, the only sounds you hear are the birds, frogs, and the occasional car. Barbara and Michael love their property and it shows in the care of construction, furnishings, and the way the landscaping blends with the natural surroundings. The cottage was very clean and fully furnished with all of the necessities. The hosts are welcoming and dedicated to helping you enjoy your stay at their bit of paradise."

  • Good rental property; nice pool

"This is a modern, well-kept property with two units: one upstairs and one downstairs (we rented the downstairs). It has a private, natural, very-large volcano-heated warm pond to swim in. Excellent location to other thermal swimming sites, including half-a-block to the famous Champagne Pool. Good quality beds and modern appliances. The only downside is not much privacy (it's a duplex, surrounded by other rentals and not much foliage), and not a lot of "Hawaiian character" to the somewhat utilitarian structure. Property would also benefit from more/better outdoor furniture."

  • Wonderful 4-night stay!

"The two of us had a great time staying in this lovely property for four nights. It was ideally situated to act as a base for exploring the national park and all its wonders, as well as for visiting the adjacent areas including the Puna and Pahoa districts. The house was comfortable, everything we could possibly need was provided, and the serenity and seclusion were exactly what we were looking for. All around a great experience. Mahalo Tracy for sharing your home with us! -Michelle & Mitch"
