  • Adorable cottage in a convenient location!

"My friends and I spend 2 nights at the Ohi'a Kai Cottage. The property is in a wonderful, central location and very easy to find for those who are not familiar with the area. Everything that we needed was furnished for us in the home. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Highly recommended!"

  • Humble Home-away-from-Home ***** EXCELLENT location in Kapaa, Kauai !

"If you're looking for modest accomodations in the BEST location on the island of Kauai that's owned & operated by some of the nicest people you'll ever have to do 'business' with, that comfortably sleeps 4-6 people, then LOOK NO FURTHER :) [Unless you'd rather pay triple the price to be 'on the beach'] Bob (owner) & Donna (manager) take care of business with a personal touch. They delivered fresh, homegrown fruits & flowers two (2) times the week we stayed. Donna never let us down if we needed references, directions, or anything else during our stay. Their demeanors are second-to-none! As for the property: - NO traffic noise of vehicles bustling by, yet in the heart of downtown Kapaa. - only 2 short blocks walk to the beach & park that's beautiful, public, and well kept. - 2 or 3 supermarkets a short drive (really long walking distance) from the 'Hale'. - Lots of local shopping & restaurants in downtown Kapaa (all within a short walk). - furnishings not so nice that you feel like you have to be 'careful', yet nice enough & really feel like you're in a place to relax. - kitchen has nearly anything you will need to get the job done. - bedding is comfortable. - double-vanity bathroom with tub/shower. - front-loading washer & dryer downstairs are a definite PLUS (pack & haul less). - tons of windows to open-up and enjoy the fresh island breezes. - Unless you're accustomed to lavish condominiums and have spoiled tastes... YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!! Kapaa is almost located in the center of the 'Horseshoe' of highway that connects everything to see & do in Kauai, so "convenience" is the least you can say about it's location. Another final PERK to mention is that it's sooooo close to the airport in Lihue, for a quick arrival or hesitant departure!!!"

  • Perfect Stay and Hosts -- Would Definitely Stay Here Again

"My family of five stayed in this condo for nine days in August and had a fantastic experience. Priscilla was a pleasure to work with (more on than below) and I would without hesitation stay here again for my next visit to Kauai. This unit is located on the top floor and thus is filled with light. (I booked a second floor unit for extended family, which seemed darker.) Building F does not have its own elevator, so you'll need to use the one in Building E and cross over to Building F (a 10 second walk). The condo is spotless and well-appointed. The kitchen fixtures are high-end and, in fact, I wish we had these appliances in my own home. Everything you could reasonably want (coffee maker, espresso maker, rice cooker, etc ...) is provided. Thoughtfully, there are also a few boogie boards, pool noodles, high chair, playpen, masks and snorkels, and cooler in one of the bedroom closets. The grounds are pretty and well-maintained. There is an air-conditioned, glass-walled gym with free weights, various machines, treadmills, etc … You can really work out there – it’s not the forgotten, interior room with only a few machines you often get. With respect to the pool, please note that it is not a lazy river as some other reviews have stated. It has no current flowing through it and instead is a serpentine pool. There are two slides which my youngest enjoyed. The Waipouli Beach Resort is adjacent to and within walking distance of Kapaa, which has a lot of restaurants and small shops. Lots of local color. Safeway, Foodland, Starbucks and a number of restaurants are directly across the street. Kapaa itself is centrally located on Kauai. One morning, we drove to the Kalalau lookout at the end of the Waimea Canyon, which would have been a far longer drive had we stayed in the north shore. We also went to Hanalei twice, which was only about a 35 minute drive (and a pretty one at that). The WBR is close to Lydgate Beach and Kealia Beach (each about a 10 min. drive) and various activities (ziplining, tubing, etc ...) I had such a great experience dealing with Priscilla. She was always pleasant, responded to communications very quickly and thoroughly, and was very accommodating of our travel schedule. I have nothing but good things to say about Priscilla and our stay at her condo. There is no question that I would recommend this condo to family and friends, and that this would be my first choice of accommodations for my next trip to Kauai!"

East Kauai Vacation Rentals Are Where You Can Make a Splash on the Garden Isle

Kauai, Hawaii is known as the Garden Isle for its spectacular natural beauty and amazing East Kauai vacation rentals. As soon as you check into your Kauai lodging, you will immediately want to explore the gorgeous fauna and flora surrounding you. From hiking in paradise to taking a whale-watching cruise, there are certainly plenty of options for exploring the unique natural beauty that is Kauai, all conveniently located near Kauai condos.

East Kauai Vacation Rentals Allow You to Get in Touch with Nature

Kauai condos provide you with the perfect opportunity to explore one of the most famous hiking trails in this region of the world, Kalalau Trail. Not intended for the faint of heart, this 11-mile trail will provide you with unparalleled views of the sea cliffs that comprise the coast. For an even more beautiful hike situated not far from Kauai lodging, consider taking the two-mile Ke'e Beach hike. After viewing exceptional coastline views, the trail will take you through ohia, kuki and bamboo tree groves before concluding at a cozy little beach nestled near a sea cave.

Kauai Condos to Relax in Seclusion

If you are looking for a quiet place to get away and enjoy some time away from the hustle and bustle, East Kauai vacation rentals are also located near one of the most attractive and secluded beaches on the island. Ke'e Beach is considered to be at its best by many early in the morning, providing the opportunity to explore the reef located just offshore. You can also enjoy a calm lagoon and a host of different sea life, such as barracuda and turtles, if you feel up to snorkeling. Just make sure you leave your Kauai lodging early enough to beat the crowds.

Take a Whale-watching Cruise near Kauai Lodging

If you plan to time your vacation in Kauai condos during humpback whale season, which runs from December through April, then you will certainly be in for a treat. During this time, these gentle giants come specifically to the beaches of Kauai to give birth. Take a whale-watching cruise and enjoy the opportunity to view whales as close as 50 yards from your boat. Cruises depart not far from East Kauai vacation rentals.
