"This was our first trip to Hawaii. We fell in love with this condo and will definitely be back in the near future. The location was perfect! Great ocean front location, wonderful beach and gorgeous views! Very relaxing!"

"We were here for five days in early August. The communication leading up to the stay was great, and Gary even called the first day to make sure all was fine. This was our first trip to Kauai, and we chose the condo for the reviews and location, as we were looking for something that was between Waimea Canyon and the Na Pali coast. About everything you want in a vacation condo is in the unit, and the view from the lanai is outstanding. Pono Kai is a fairly large resort. but the condo is the far corner unit in the far left building facing the ocean, so you do not feel as if you are in complex at all. That being said, one thing that was not mentioned by some of the other reviews I read before booking was how well the resort landscaping is maintained. Overall, it is very, very attractive place. Kapaa is a nice little town, with grocery stores very close to the unit, as well as some very good restaurants (we highly recommend Verde in the Kapaa shopping center -- maybe our best meal on our two island trip)."

"We had an absolute wonderful stay at this place. The apartment is set in beautiful surroundings; in a quiet neighborhood and it has a lush garden with amazing flowers and waterfall view.
The place has all the amenities you need, proper kitchen, bathroom (with a lot of fresh towels) and washing machine.
Location is good; it takes only half an hour to drive to Hanalei Bay or to the south. Kapa'a is a great little seaside town.
The house owner Rick is is great! He is very friendly and helped us around. He even picked us up from the airport (and dropped us off again). We rented his SUV and he also provided us with boogie boards, beach chairs and snorkel gear.
We highly recommend this property!!!"

"The property location was a 10 as we found so much to do in Kapaa for both us and our teenagers. I recommend the Bull Shed for dinner in Kappa if you like Steaks and Duke's in Lihue for sea food. The zip line in Princeville was too much fun and well worth the cost for a family adventure.
The condo was very large, well furnished, very comfortable and the two bedrooms surprisingly bigger than expected. We stayed in mid July and it was 90 plus the whole week and the three A/C's throughout the condo worked well. The bathrooms were large and there was a washer dryer in the second bathroom which worked out perfect for us. There was a 65 inch HDTV in the living room with a Blue Ray and over 50 DVD's to watch which made it very relaxing in the evening for me. There was also HDTV's in each of the other two bedrooms which my boys enjoyed as well. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The island contact the owner uses was so nice and helpful we tipped her. The view from the Lanai could not be any better and the beach was fun to swim and we felt safe. The only problem we found was a week was just not enough time."
