"After being on Oahu for a family reunion with 7 high energy grandchildren, my wife and I treated ourselves to a wonderful rest and recovery week on Kauai property 355962. Everything Geoff said about the condo was true. We particularly like sitting out on the Lanai sipping coffee and watching the sunrise and listening to the waves roll in. Ditto a glass of wine in the evening as the sun set. The condo was just right for the two of us and we deeply appreciated that it was superbly clean and close to many excellent places for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My prime metric for any place I stay is, "would I do it again?". Absolutely yes!"

"We had an absolute wonderful stay at this place. The apartment is set in beautiful surroundings; in a quiet neighborhood and it has a lush garden with amazing flowers and waterfall view.
The place has all the amenities you need, proper kitchen, bathroom (with a lot of fresh towels) and washing machine.
Location is good; it takes only half an hour to drive to Hanalei Bay or to the south. Kapa'a is a great little seaside town.
The house owner Rick is is great! He is very friendly and helped us around. He even picked us up from the airport (and dropped us off again). We rented his SUV and he also provided us with boogie boards, beach chairs and snorkel gear.
We highly recommend this property!!!"

"My husband and I loved our stay at Hale Mala Pua! Holly and Rick made every effort to insure our comfort during our stay. The cottage is very clean and stocked with everything you might need. We loved exploring the beautiful grounds, picking fruit, saying hi to Lucy the pig, and playing with the dogs and cats. The cottage was a welcome retreat each night after a day of exploring the island. The sport shack had everything we needed for a day at the beach and saved us from having to rent equipment. The backyard jacuzzi tub was a highlight and made for some great stargazing. Rick and Holly's kindness and generosity made a lasting impression on us and we can't wait to return and stay in this little piece of paradise!"

"My girlfriend and I stayed at this house after a two week sight seeing trip in Japan and was the perfect relaxing end to an already great vacation. The first thing I noticed about the house was how comfortable the bed was. After a long travel day, it was a welcome sight. The owner was very nice and welcoming and we felt comfortable asking her questions about places to snorkel and what to do on the island. The house itself is about a 5 minute drive from Kapaa and not bad at all. It over looks a beautiful mountain range that is amazing to look at while having coffee on the patio or BBQing at night. There are three really cute ducks that roam the property and come over to say hello. They are great because they seem to eat all the bugs. The neighbors have a nice lonely donkey which we were able to feed and pet when it game to greet us at the fence. Overall, this house was amazing and a great deal. A lot of other places we looked at were a similar price but included hidden charges and didn't come with a kitchen. I would easily stay here again the next time I am in Kauai."
