  • Awesome!

"My husband and I stayed a week. It was the perfect place for us! Gated, quiet, beautiful views and condo grounds too. Everything we needed was there waiting for us. Comfortable bed too! The perfect location for seeing the entire island and close enough for walking for an ice cream or great meal. Thanks so much!"

  • Nice condo with a good ocean view

"It is a beautiful condo, well equipped (especially the kitchen). The ocean view is nice with a close by beach access. The bedroom A/C is a blessing. The owner is a nice woman to work with. We had to move the dates by a day because of a sick child. She was very helpful and arranged everything for us. Would recommend this to anyone with a small family. Will visit again...."

  • Simply Beautiful!

"We just returned from 14 days in this beautiful condo. Our visit was June 10-24, 2014. Everything was exactly as advertised. The condo was clean and stocked to help us get started. There was plenty of room for our family of four. We love the convenient location between the southern side of the island and the north. This made all of our excursions and easy drive. The Coconut Marketplace is about a 3 minute walk and is a great place for grabbing a quick bite to eat and shopping. If you are staying for a long time making a trip to Costco in Lihue is a must for all your essentials. There is a farmers market in the parking lot at the Coconut Marketplace on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. This was a perfect time for us to stock up on all of the yummy fruits and vegetables Kauai has to offer. The cultural center is the marketplace is also a fun place to learn or watch hula or make your own lei. The condo itself is just steps from the sand. The beach is a great place for hanging out and swimming. The property is managed well. The pool is crystal clear. The barbecues were great and we used them many times. I would recommend this place to anyone who want to have a stress free place to vacation and relax on Kauai. We simply cannot wait to go back!"

  • Absolutely the best!

"Aloha! What more can we say about this place that has not already been said? We spent 9 days here for our honeymoon. It was our first time in Hawaii and we were not disappointed. The condo itself is absolutely fantastic. It sleeps four, but is also very comfortable for just two. It has almost everything you need to have a fantastic time in Kauai. Things we really loved about the condo: - It is centrally located. Whether you're visiting Polihale State Park on the South West shore, or the Kalalau Trail in the North West, or somewhere in between, you will find it easy to get where you want to go. We visited all over the island, and we never felt we were driving for long. - The view of Wailua Bay from the lanai (balcony) is stunning, and has to be one of the best on the island. We found that relaxing on the lanai was the perfect way to start and end our days. We miss the calming ocean sounds already. - The condo is well-stocked with things you will find useful like beach towels, beach mats, a boogie-board, soap, shampoo etc.. Also kitchen staples like salt, pepper, sugar, flour, butter, oil, pancake mix etc. We used a few things and left some for future guests too. - The condo complex is absolutely beautiful. It’s very quiet, there is a super clean pool and very nice landscaping. You are just steps from Wailua Beach, which is a beautiful and mostly secluded beach you can use for walking, sunbathing, swimming, surfing, boogie-boarding etc. - Just across the road is the Passion Bakery (yum!) and many other excellent restaurants, souvenir shops etc. are within a very short walk. You are just a couple of minutes drive from Safeway for groceries. Costco, Walmart, Kmart etc are a 15-20 minute drive south in Lihue. Things we really loved about our trip to Kauai (due to the 2,500 character restriction on VRBO we couldn’t post our whole review, so here is just a list of the things we did): East Shore - Lydgate State Park, Sleeping Giant Hike, Wailua Falls Lookout, Hike to Ho’opi’i Falls, Bike Rental at Kauai Bike Rentals, Verde Restaurant North Shore - Kalalau Trail, Ke’e Beach, Queens Bath, Secret Beach & Lava Pools South Shore - Waimea Canyon, Polihale State Park, Poipu Beach, Spouting Horn, Island Taco, Kauai Coffee Plantation Just when we thought this trip couldn't get any better, Shayne, gave us a very late checkout to accommodate our 10pm outbound flight. This trip was amazing and we can't wait to return! Mahalo!"

Wailua Travel Tips

Wailua Vacation Rentals Offer Serene Beauty

Wailua vacation rentals are a great place to stay if you want immediate access to the Wailua River State Park. The park covers over 1,000 acres of land on the island of Kuaia, and it includes Lydgate Park. If you like to kayak or canoe, the river is one of the state's best destinations. The minimal current makes it easy to paddle up and down stream. At the southern side of the river, you can pause for lunch at the picnic area. With vacation rentals in Wailua, you can enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, making it a breeze to prepare your favorite meals to go.

Wailua Beach Rentals Make it Easy to Catch a Wave

With Wailua beach rentals, you get to stay near the water, and in many cases on the waterfront. A few steps bring you to a beach where you can snorkel, swim, sunbathe, or fish. Build a sandcastle or wait for low tide when you can explore the shallow pools filled with aquatic treasures. If you like to surf, grab your board. You can enjoy kite boarding, wake boarding, and wind surfing, too. When you finish playing, head back to your beach rental in Wailua and rinse off. Toss your wet swimsuits and towels in the dryer while you enjoy watching TV in the furnished living room.

Kauai Travel Takes You to Paradise

Kauai travel opportunities let you enjoy the garden island. If you like archeological sites, plan a trip to one of the nearby heiau. These Hawaiian temples pay tribute to yesteryear, preserving the history of the island. Whales, dolphins, and sea turtles like to swim though the waters, and the crystal-clear water is great for snorkeling. With vacation rentals in Wailua, you can also enjoy aerial tours and outdoor expeditions.
