  • look no further

"Coming from the 2nd best state (CA) to celebrate my 40th bday, I was in love with the unit! I was pleased with the truth in the pictures displayed. The condo was more than could be expected!! Unobstructed views of the ocean, short walk to beach, and the location of the condo were excellent. The added benefits were in-unit laundry facilities, snorkeling gear, extra towels and linens, and even a radio in the unit. A big mahalo to L & K (owners) for the extra time and aloha they put into their units. They are hospitable and accommodating, making sure you are comfortable. There really is no need to look further for a place to stay in Kaua'i!!! A hui hou as I will return!!"

  • Perfect oceanfront condo for our family!

"We could not have been happier with our condo. My husband and I stayed here with our 19 month old toddler. We brought a pack n play that fit perfectly in the bedroom on the side of the bed. The view of the ocean was absolutely gorgeous- we loved the peaceful sound of the waves crashing, and being able to wake up & enjoy our meals on the lanai. The washer and dryer was a huge plus, and saved us from having a ton of laundry to do when we returned home. The location on the east side was perfect for us because we wanted to visit both sides of the island without a long drive time. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend to any friends and family that travel to Kauai. Mahalo for a wonderful stay!"

  • Absolutely the best!

"Aloha! What more can we say about this place that has not already been said? We spent 9 days here for our honeymoon. It was our first time in Hawaii and we were not disappointed. The condo itself is absolutely fantastic. It sleeps four, but is also very comfortable for just two. It has almost everything you need to have a fantastic time in Kauai. Things we really loved about the condo: - It is centrally located. Whether you're visiting Polihale State Park on the South West shore, or the Kalalau Trail in the North West, or somewhere in between, you will find it easy to get where you want to go. We visited all over the island, and we never felt we were driving for long. - The view of Wailua Bay from the lanai (balcony) is stunning, and has to be one of the best on the island. We found that relaxing on the lanai was the perfect way to start and end our days. We miss the calming ocean sounds already. - The condo is well-stocked with things you will find useful like beach towels, beach mats, a boogie-board, soap, shampoo etc.. Also kitchen staples like salt, pepper, sugar, flour, butter, oil, pancake mix etc. We used a few things and left some for future guests too. - The condo complex is absolutely beautiful. It’s very quiet, there is a super clean pool and very nice landscaping. You are just steps from Wailua Beach, which is a beautiful and mostly secluded beach you can use for walking, sunbathing, swimming, surfing, boogie-boarding etc. - Just across the road is the Passion Bakery (yum!) and many other excellent restaurants, souvenir shops etc. are within a very short walk. You are just a couple of minutes drive from Safeway for groceries. Costco, Walmart, Kmart etc are a 15-20 minute drive south in Lihue. Things we really loved about our trip to Kauai (due to the 2,500 character restriction on VRBO we couldn’t post our whole review, so here is just a list of the things we did): East Shore - Lydgate State Park, Sleeping Giant Hike, Wailua Falls Lookout, Hike to Ho’opi’i Falls, Bike Rental at Kauai Bike Rentals, Verde Restaurant North Shore - Kalalau Trail, Ke’e Beach, Queens Bath, Secret Beach & Lava Pools South Shore - Waimea Canyon, Polihale State Park, Poipu Beach, Spouting Horn, Island Taco, Kauai Coffee Plantation Just when we thought this trip couldn't get any better, Shayne, gave us a very late checkout to accommodate our 10pm outbound flight. This trip was amazing and we can't wait to return! Mahalo!"

  • Awesome Stay With Strange Happenings

"First, the awesome: * view * how the sound of the waves lull you while in bed, relax you while on the terrace * proximity to the nearby beach * walking distance to Passion Pastries Now, the strange: * alarm went off and a neighbor with a key (unbeknownst to us) went in our room to turn it off, then stopped us when we came back from a day out to tell us about it * police knocked on our door at three in the morning, claiming to have received a 911 call and hangup from our room (wasn't us) * stomping overhead during noise hours; once lights out hours came, stomping ended, only to return the next day Overall, it was a great stay and we would be happy to stay there again."
