"We own a VRBO in San Diego, but had never stayed at one. This was a perfect first VRBO stay! We were looking for a relaxed, not frenzied resort environment--we were looking for a home. The condo has a pool, tennis court, and small beach. The location was great—30 minutes to the airport and only a mile to Safeway, Subway, Starbuck’s and nice restaurants if you don’t want to drive. A coin laundry steps from the front door with a laundry sink to rinse out salt water, sand, or that famous red dirt was nice to have. Our favorite aspect of the facility was the landscaping. Stone walkways lace the property. There is a koi pond, and if you ask, the grounds keeper will let you feed them. There are small and large planting areas of bromeliads with artful color schemes and many palms. Every night the Tiki lights were lit from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Most mornings we walked to the beach (steps from the condo) for the sunrise. Kauai is a fairly small island, so travel to the North, South, or West was easy. There were a variety of travel books at the condo, and we found “The Ultimate Kauai Guidebook” to be our favorite. It was a nice and relaxing vacation and this condo was a great find for us."

"I have stayed on Kauai five times and this was my first stay in Kapaa. I would definitely stay in this condo again. It was comfortable, quiet and had a lot of nice touches. The view is beautiful and you can hear the ocean from most of the condo, which I loved. The place was functional; it had everything that we needed and some thoughtful little extras that I appreciated (plenty of coffee and filters, lots of soap type products, even little pkg of Advil) and the price was right. If you see the blue cupboards in the pictures and wonder what they were thinking, you're not alone, but I must admit when I got there and saw it in person, it really does work - definitely evocative of the sea... Quite lovely and artsy in real time! The owner has made an effort to decorate with bamboo and everywhere you look, island decor is staring back at you. thamks for the memories!"

"Our first time in Kauai was made all the more enjoyable thanks to the great accomodations. We so enjoyed our morning coffee out on the oceanfront lanai and listening to the waves in the evening. The unit was clean and contained everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal, allowing easy access to all areas of the island. We hope to return."

"This is a perfect home away from home! Located off a quiet street in a gated community, but easily walk to great shops, restaurants and supplies.
The condo itself is gorgeous... Well equipped and beautifully maintained. We had everything we needed, including a dishwasher and washer/dryer. The bedding is luxurious and the beds are Sooo comfortable! We loved having 2 lanais, especially since the outdoor space is so gorgeous! You are just steps the pool and beach, and there's a turtle sanctuary there! The central location was great - we could get to both Princeville and Poipu within 30 mins. I couldn't be happier with our choice and hope to come back again and again!"
