  • Beautiful condo and property

"This condo at Lae Nani was wonderful for our family. The property and view are fantastic, loved looking out onto the green grass, palm trees and beach/ocean from the living room/patio. Very peaceful. Ice chest and boogie boards came in handy. It was very hot and humid when we were there, which I'm told is common for the summer, the portable fan did come in handy, but I did miss having air conditioning. It was a great time for our family to all be together, would love to return again (maybe when it's not so hot)."

  • THE BEST!!

"What an absolutely wonderful vacation condo! Pictures don't do justice to how clean, wonderfully decorated, and well equipped with everything you could need to make your stay a pleasure --- and the VIEW!! I could not imagine going back and staying any where else. There is a reason every review is 5 star, and in addition Gene and Mary Grace are such wonderful people to work with. The unit is located close to many dining options. Several of our favorites were the Hukilau Lanai, at the Kauai Coast Resort, about 5 min away, a little pricy but well worth it. In Lihue, 10 min away, is a great place for lunch, Gaylords Plantation. Good food plus an array of small boutique shops to browse in and in addition, right behind the restaurant in the same complex, is the Koloa Rum Company, which offers a short tour and tasting room. The condo is really centrally located to visit the whole island and the distances are not very great. No matter which part of the island you visit there are beautiful beaches and really great vistas. Some of our favorites were the Kilauea lighthouse and the drive up to the observation points at the top of Waimea Canyon."

  • Lovely

"My husband, brother and I stayed here for 9 days. The cottage is 1-bedroom, but has a large screened lanai which can serve as an extra room or second bedroom (Rick provided an air mattress and linens, in addition to the comfortable and plush king bed in the master bedroom). With the windows and screen doors open, the cottage is like one big lanai. The cottage includes several guidebooks and field guides, plenty of space for relaxing. We spent our days exploring the island, and this cottage's central location was a great for that. We were also off the beaten path, in a rural area near some farms, but about 5 minutes drive from the nearest store and 10 minutes from Kapa'a town. The sound of chickens (hens *and* roosters) is ever-present, so if you are a light sleeper you can either bring earplugs or close the windows. We were able to cook all our dinners and breakfasts in the cottage. Area farmers markets, food trucks, and roadside stands kept us well supplied with local fruits, fish, goat cheese, taro bread, local coffee ... you name it. Check out the website kauaimusicscene for live music events all over the island. And be sure to visit the best "townie bar" of all time: the Pau Hana Bar & Grill, near the Safeway in Kapa'a."

  • A Perfect Place!

"We thoroughly enjoyed your beautiful, comfortable, quiet condo in a lovely setting! It's conveniently located near excellent restaurants, beaches, grocery stores and the Wailua Golf Course. We loved the view, the privacy, the shower, the kitchen conveniences, the beach chairs, and the snorkeling stuff. The lawns and flowers are so well-cared for. We've recommended it to our friends. We look forward to returning!"

Wailua Travel Tips

Wailua Vacation Rentals Offer Serene Beauty

Wailua vacation rentals are a great place to stay if you want immediate access to the Wailua River State Park. The park covers over 1,000 acres of land on the island of Kuaia, and it includes Lydgate Park. If you like to kayak or canoe, the river is one of the state's best destinations. The minimal current makes it easy to paddle up and down stream. At the southern side of the river, you can pause for lunch at the picnic area. With vacation rentals in Wailua, you can enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, making it a breeze to prepare your favorite meals to go.

Wailua Beach Rentals Make it Easy to Catch a Wave

With Wailua beach rentals, you get to stay near the water, and in many cases on the waterfront. A few steps bring you to a beach where you can snorkel, swim, sunbathe, or fish. Build a sandcastle or wait for low tide when you can explore the shallow pools filled with aquatic treasures. If you like to surf, grab your board. You can enjoy kite boarding, wake boarding, and wind surfing, too. When you finish playing, head back to your beach rental in Wailua and rinse off. Toss your wet swimsuits and towels in the dryer while you enjoy watching TV in the furnished living room.

Kauai Travel Takes You to Paradise

Kauai travel opportunities let you enjoy the garden island. If you like archeological sites, plan a trip to one of the nearby heiau. These Hawaiian temples pay tribute to yesteryear, preserving the history of the island. Whales, dolphins, and sea turtles like to swim though the waters, and the crystal-clear water is great for snorkeling. With vacation rentals in Wailua, you can also enjoy aerial tours and outdoor expeditions.
