  • Comfortable condo, great location!

"We love Lae Nani! We have stayed in other units here before, and this one did not disappoint. My husband and I, along with a single adult friend, stayed for a week in August. The owner was friendly, professional, and easy to work with. The on-site manager was also pleasant, and seems to be doing a great job since Outrigger Resorts left the on-site office. The condo was clean, comfortable, nicely furnished, well-appointed, and had beautiful views from the lanai. Kapa'a is a convenient central location for exploring the island. There are plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. The beaches of Kapa'a are not the best on the island, but the small cove in front of Lae Nani is very nice, and so is the pool, and the grounds. The main road through Kapa'a gets congested at times, but Lae Nani is far enough off of it, that you don't hear the traffic, and you don't feel too close to it. You mainly see the ocean and hear the waves from inside the condo. We would totally stay here again, and recommend it to others! Mahalo Suzanne for sharing your condo, and for being flexible with our dates (our trip was slightly altered due to hurricanes), and prompt with our deposit refund."

  • No better place to stay in Kauai!

"We stayed in this condo for 10 glorious nights in May and could not have been happier. The condo has everything you could ask for to make a perfect vacation - ocean front view, east side location, newly remodeled, and quiet. The pool area was very nice and using the BBQ was a nice option to have. My favorite thing was having Mai-Tais on the lanai after a fun day exploring the island. You can also walk to several good restaurants and a nice poolside bar at the Islander. Overall, I would highly recommend this condo for a trip to Kauai. Mahalo!"

  • Amazing views from lanai!

"We just got back from 10 wonderful days on Kauai with this unit as our home base and could not have been happier. The view out the sliding glass doors towards the ocean is amazing and you are literally just steps away from the water. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained with a wide variety of colorful birds that sing in the trees and bushes. Sharon was very responsive to all emails, usually within a day, if not within a few hours. Our flight home wasn't until 8p.m. and Sharon worked with the property management staff on our behalf to arrange a late check out for us, which made the last day so much nicer. We would definitely recommend this unit to any of our friends. It's conveniently located in the middle of the island so has easy access to both north and south shores. We'll have wonderful memories of this vacation forever!"

  • Great vacation

"We own a VRBO in San Diego, but had never stayed at one. This was a perfect first VRBO stay! We were looking for a relaxed, not frenzied resort environment--we were looking for a home. The condo has a pool, tennis court, and small beach. The location was great—30 minutes to the airport and only a mile to Safeway, Subway, Starbuck’s and nice restaurants if you don’t want to drive. A coin laundry steps from the front door with a laundry sink to rinse out salt water, sand, or that famous red dirt was nice to have. Our favorite aspect of the facility was the landscaping. Stone walkways lace the property. There is a koi pond, and if you ask, the grounds keeper will let you feed them. There are small and large planting areas of bromeliads with artful color schemes and many palms. Every night the Tiki lights were lit from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Most mornings we walked to the beach (steps from the condo) for the sunrise. Kauai is a fairly small island, so travel to the North, South, or West was easy. There were a variety of travel books at the condo, and we found “The Ultimate Kauai Guidebook” to be our favorite. It was a nice and relaxing vacation and this condo was a great find for us."
