"We had a great time. Suzanne and her on island staff provided excellent service to us while we stayed in Kauai. The condo was centrally located and easy to get to and from. The pictures of the condo displayed on VRBO are accurate to the unit. The property was clean and the landscaping was beautiful. We enjoyed all aspects of the island from north to south to east to west. We enjoyed the sunset dinner cruise with Captain Andy's up the Na Pali Coast the best. It was another wonderful adventure. A gorgeous sunrise greeted us most mornings. Breakfast and dinner with the view of the ocean was fantastic. Thank you so much for sharing your home away from home with us!"Guest: Lindsey L. "We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The condo was exactly as described. Enjoyed cool seabreeze during day and A/C at night when we preferred the widows and shades closed. You can walk right to the beach down a short path at the side of the condos. Short drive to many other beaches and sites on the island."Guest: Carmine C. "We thoroughly enjoyed your beautiful, comfortable, quiet condo in a lovely setting! It's conveniently located near excellent restaurants, beaches, grocery stores and the Wailua Golf Course. We loved the view, the privacy, the shower, the kitchen conveniences, the beach chairs, and the snorkeling stuff. The lawns and flowers are so well-cared for. We've recommended it to our friends. We look forward to returning!"Guest: David B. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 8, 2014View listing
"My bf and I stayed at the Wailua Hideaway and we had a fantastic time! The accomodation was spacious, comfortable, clean and peaceful.Tthe hiking trail literally a few minutes walk away was beautiful and nearby beaches were a short drive away. Although it would be perfect if it was beach front, the beaches are not far away and the scenery around you is beautiful and the neibourhood is quiet and friendly, perfect for relaxing. The accomodation is in a good location for exploring the various sides of the island with a rental vehicle and a lovely retreat after a long day of exploring. It is a must that you have a vehicle if staying at this accomodation and in general if you want to explore the island. The owners are friendly and keep the place well maintained. I recommend going to Mermaids Cafe in Kapaa for a quick bite to eat and picnic on the beach and of course hiking the Nounou trail nearby, I would definitely recommend this accomodation to family and friends."Guest: Gemini Date of Stay: March 2013 Review Submitted: April 4, 2013View listing
Wailua Travel Tips
Wailua Vacation Rentals Offer Serene Beauty
Wailua vacation rentals are a great place to stay if you want immediate access to the Wailua River State Park. The park covers over 1,000 acres of land on the island of Kuaia, and it includes Lydgate Park. If you like to kayak or canoe, the river is one of the state's best destinations. The minimal current makes it easy to paddle up and down stream. At the southern side of the river, you can pause for lunch at the picnic area. With vacation rentals in Wailua, you can enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, making it a breeze to prepare your favorite meals to go.
Wailua Beach Rentals Make it Easy to Catch a Wave
With Wailua beach rentals, you get to stay near the water, and in many cases on the waterfront. A few steps bring you to a beach where you can snorkel, swim, sunbathe, or fish. Build a sandcastle or wait for low tide when you can explore the shallow pools filled with aquatic treasures. If you like to surf, grab your board. You can enjoy kite boarding, wake boarding, and wind surfing, too. When you finish playing, head back to your beach rental in Wailua and rinse off. Toss your wet swimsuits and towels in the dryer while you enjoy watching TV in the furnished living room.
Kauai Travel Takes You to Paradise
Kauai travel opportunities let you enjoy the garden island. If you like archeological sites, plan a trip to one of the nearby heiau. These Hawaiian temples pay tribute to yesteryear, preserving the history of the island. Whales, dolphins, and sea turtles like to swim though the waters, and the crystal-clear water is great for snorkeling. With vacation rentals in Wailua, you can also enjoy aerial tours and outdoor expeditions.
