  • What hurricane???

"Despite all the warnings and anxiety over the "twin hurricanes", our stay was excellent. Other than a couple of cloudy days and one overnight rain event, the weather was terrific. This is our second stay at Lae Nani. The first one required two bedrooms, but this one bedroom unit was perfect for a couple. The bed was comfortable, the view exceptional, and kitchen was well equipped. The extra half bath is also a plus. Definitely would recommend this unit for a couple or single individual who is looking for a tropical escape. The complex is remarkable. The improvement to the grounds since our last visit were noticeable. Having a swimmable beach (and "baby lagoon") and a pool with an ocean view are unbeatable. Very convenient for groceries and staples. The Farmers' Market on Tuesday and Thursday (walking distance) is a special treat. Can't miss with this one!!"

  • Absolutely wonderful!

"We stayed here for our 25th anniversary trip from 9/5/13 to 9/12/13 and it couldn't have been more wonderful. We just loved the condo, the location and most of all the view!!!! Incredible! When were "at home" we spent most of our time on the lanai. Right before sunrise was the most breathtaking so get up early! I was blown away every morning by the sheer beauty of the sky and ocean. We also loved sitting out at night and watching the stars. A very special condo and very well taken care of. We hardly ate out since the first day there we went to Costco and stocked up on food and drink. How nice to eat on the deck and have a pina colada there at the end of the day. We hope to be back one day, Kauai is a very special place and so it this condo!"

  • Dream Spot

"Our family of 4 (including 2 college age students) had a dream vacation here. The condo is beautifully situated on the east coast of Kauai, conveniently to great restaurants and attractions both north and south. And the view from the living room and balcony is even under-stated on the description-greeting us every morning was a gorgeous beach with the soft sound of waves and a beautiful breeze. The furnishings were modern and beautiful, with every convenience possible (one exception is no air conditioning, but that turned out to be a plus as the ocean breeze was more than enough to keep us cool and feeling tropical!). In addition, the owner was incredibly responsive-I received a cheerful response within an hour of my email. Couldn't recommend this condo more highly-we definitely plan to return. It was our first experience with VRBO, and a huge success in every way."

  • Wonderful Condo

"We stayed here for 10 nights. The location is PERFECT since you are literally steps from the ocean. I was a little leery about noise from the pool since it is right outside the front door, but there was minimal noise. In fact, Lae Nani is the quietest place I've ever stayed. The views from this condo were amazing. We spent so much time on the lanai just soaking it all in. The unit itself was clean. It feels a little bit dated, but honestly not too bad. The kitchen was fully stocked. There is only one very small t.v. in the family room and we never even turned it on. I was actually glad because who wants to sit and watch t.v. when you could be staring at the ocean instead?! There is a little t.v. in the MBR to catch up on the day's events ;) The grounds here are beautifully maintained and the groundskeepers take pride in their work. Security guards were out day and night. The pool area, while nothing fancy, was very nice. We spent a lot of time at the pool chatting with our upstairs neighbors and floating. All in all a wonderful vacation and we will be back!"

Wailua Travel Tips

Wailua Vacation Rentals Offer Serene Beauty

Wailua vacation rentals are a great place to stay if you want immediate access to the Wailua River State Park. The park covers over 1,000 acres of land on the island of Kuaia, and it includes Lydgate Park. If you like to kayak or canoe, the river is one of the state's best destinations. The minimal current makes it easy to paddle up and down stream. At the southern side of the river, you can pause for lunch at the picnic area. With vacation rentals in Wailua, you can enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, making it a breeze to prepare your favorite meals to go.

Wailua Beach Rentals Make it Easy to Catch a Wave

With Wailua beach rentals, you get to stay near the water, and in many cases on the waterfront. A few steps bring you to a beach where you can snorkel, swim, sunbathe, or fish. Build a sandcastle or wait for low tide when you can explore the shallow pools filled with aquatic treasures. If you like to surf, grab your board. You can enjoy kite boarding, wake boarding, and wind surfing, too. When you finish playing, head back to your beach rental in Wailua and rinse off. Toss your wet swimsuits and towels in the dryer while you enjoy watching TV in the furnished living room.

Kauai Travel Takes You to Paradise

Kauai travel opportunities let you enjoy the garden island. If you like archeological sites, plan a trip to one of the nearby heiau. These Hawaiian temples pay tribute to yesteryear, preserving the history of the island. Whales, dolphins, and sea turtles like to swim though the waters, and the crystal-clear water is great for snorkeling. With vacation rentals in Wailua, you can also enjoy aerial tours and outdoor expeditions.
