  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!

"You know that Booking.com commercial where the travel weary, beat down family finally arrives at their destination with that "what now" look on their faces--only to turn the key and find the place of their dreams? Well, you too can shake your fist in the air, drop your bags, pour your Mai-Tais and instantly forget every moment of that trip that got you here! Compliments to your nice kitchen re-do--loved being able to fix our own meals and enjoy that incredible view---people pay big dollars to the big chains in hopes of getting a view like this! I believe this is the only condo in the building with the double windows in the bedroom that gives you a very peaceful nights sleep--never needed the A/C--just used the overhead fans and door/window louvers. We come to Kauai lots and we are "East Siders" through and through--Safeway and Foodland right down the road--great little bakery right across the road and easy access to one of the best beaches we never really knew about (we would drive right past it). Good swimming, snorkeling, fishing off the beach and few people on it. Terrific prices and we loved the owners artwork! They even provide free netflex for those rainy evenings you just want to stay in and relax! We found a Gem! Thanks to Marvis for her help and Tim, the building manager who literally went out of his way for us! Mahalo--The Lamourias"

  • Perfect Location

"This condo was in the perfect location in Kauai. Traveling to the north and south is very easy for day trips. Having the washer and dryer was essential. There are plenty of beach toys, towels, mats and coolers available for use. The beach and pool on site was awesome. We snorkeled, swam and laid out on the beach daily. It was an easy 10 minute drive from the airport. There is only one major road going north to south, so it is very easy to navigate. There are 2 grocery stores less than a mile and the Coconut Marketplace is in walking distance. The town of Kapa'a was a great little town to shop and eat. The grounds were beautifully maintained. Only drawback, we were there when there was a heat wave, which was great for the beach but sleeping at night sometimes was a bit warm as there is no AC (in most homes they do not need it there). The Oasis restaurant and Hukilau Lanai far exceed any restaurants on the island in our opinion. We attended the Kalamaku Luau which was awesome. Lastly on a trip to Napoli Coast we used Capt Andys and we would pay to go again and again ( I cant say enough good things). Cant wait for our next trip, leaving the island was very hard!"

  • beautiful refreshing views

"We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The condo was exactly as described. Enjoyed cool seabreeze during day and A/C at night when we preferred the widows and shades closed. You can walk right to the beach down a short path at the side of the condos. Short drive to many other beaches and sites on the island."

  • A soul sister...

"After a long, tiring trip from Wisconsin, we arrived to be welcomed by a charming and warm woman. It made us feel at home - a feeling which persisted the whole 2 weeks we were at her cottage. We went upstairs to find not only fruit and bottled water, but a bottle of really nice French champagne! We were very pleased with everything - plenty of room to spread out, a fully equipped kitchen, a nice lanai even satellite tv where we could watch the Wisconsin football game at 7am. The location was perfect for us because we could visit the entire island without driving too far in either direction. Also, it was on a nice street with neighbors who were pleasant. Candace always was willing to answer questions and was always helpful. By the end of our two weeks we realized not only how wonderful the island was, but how much we had in common with our downstairs neighbor! Claude was especially delighted with the two cats - one of which was really friendly and had permission to sleep with us. We have wonderful memories of the island. A big part was meeting Candace. Thank you so much."
