Spectacular Beachfront condo
"We were thrilled when we walked through the front door and saw the view of the beach off the Lanai. It was truly spectacular. The condominium is really stocked well, just like home, with everything you need for a great vacation on the beach. We had a cooler to keep our food cool, some snorkel gear and a couple of boogie boards. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The condo is very conveniently located, near the airport, Costco, Safeway, all within in a short drive. It was also easy to get all over the rest of the island. We visited the Waimea Canyon and West Shore going to the end of the road at the Pu'u o Kila Lookout. from there we hiked the Alaka'i Swamp Trail. This was a very unique hike having raised platforms to walk on through the swamp. It had amazing views. We also visited Hanapepe on the West. On the North was Ke'e and Tunnels beaches. We hiked on the Kalalau trail up Hanakapia'ai Falls. Spectacular views on the hike also.
Near the condo we hiked Sleeping Giant which gives you great 360 panoramic views of the Kapaa area.
Poipu beach was wonderful in the south. Too many things to do, not enough time!
We stayed one week but have so much more we would like to see on Kauai. We will definitely go back and stay at the same Kahl Lani 223, so beautiful."

Bring on the romance of Kaua'i at this amazing location
The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
We stayed in this wonderful condo, knowing we were splurging a bit on a luxury property. It was so worth it. This condo, the lovely interior and the excellent location made our entire vacation. What a wonderful introduction to Hawaii. We visited many of the beaches all around the island and actually enjoyed "ours" the best. Secluded beach, shared with swimming turtles, though public, had minimal people and is just steps from the condo with an unmatched view. I still miss waking every morning to coffee at sunrise on the lanai. Close to the best restaurants on the island (in our opinion) and to shopping without feeling crowded or urban. We would definitely stay here again...and again. Folks considering staying here should know there is not air conditioning, though multiple fans are provided. The ocean air is muggy and the condo is quite warm at night. The fans move the air, but do not provide much cooling, so if you're uncomfortable with hot, humid weather, you might not be happy with the lack of air conditioning. But once you open the sliding glass door to the giant lanai and hear the ocean waves hitting the shore, you'll forget about everything else."

"We own a VRBO in San Diego, but had never stayed at one. This was a perfect first VRBO stay! We were looking for a relaxed, not frenzied resort environment--we were looking for a home. The condo has a pool, tennis court, and small beach. The location was great—30 minutes to the airport and only a mile to Safeway, Subway, Starbuck’s and nice restaurants if you don’t want to drive. A coin laundry steps from the front door with a laundry sink to rinse out salt water, sand, or that famous red dirt was nice to have. Our favorite aspect of the facility was the landscaping. Stone walkways lace the property. There is a koi pond, and if you ask, the grounds keeper will let you feed them. There are small and large planting areas of bromeliads with artful color schemes and many palms. Every night the Tiki lights were lit from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Most mornings we walked to the beach (steps from the condo) for the sunrise. Kauai is a fairly small island, so travel to the North, South, or West was easy. There were a variety of travel books at the condo, and we found “The Ultimate Kauai Guidebook” to be our favorite. It was a nice and relaxing vacation and this condo was a great find for us."
