Great resort, rental and location
"This unit is fantastic! Clean, modern w/high end features and comfy beds. Plus, it's ground floor w/little yard for kids to play and a few short steps to the pool area. This was my first time to Kauai and couldn't decide on location. Kapaa is a great "launching" point. Halfway to north or south attractions. We stayed 5 nights and explored nearly everyday. Spent a bunch of time in the pools and hot tubs too. Great for kids & families. If you're looking for a "beachfront" resort, the beach here isn't a swimming beach - but it is on the ocean..."

"This was our first trip to Hawaii. My wife and I stayed in this unit and my two boys and their families staying in a unit close to ours. The airport and car rentals are ten to fifteen minutes away from the resort.
The condo had everything we needed and is very well kept. The condo looks just like the photographs. The pool is just steps away from the bedroom and living room and the beach is just a short walk away. The pool is very well kept and we used the barbecues a couple of times to cook dinner. Our grand kids loved feeding the Koi and the frogs that go in the Koi pond at nights. The owner, Laura, was able to rent us a pack and play for one of the grand kids to use, which was very helpful.
Just across the street from the resort is a McDonald's, Starbucks, two grocery stores and severals restaurants. While the beach at the resort is not good for swimming, Lydgate park, which is a short distance away has two shallow pools that are nice to swim in or great for children to snorkel in.
There is a lot to do on the island. We went zip lining one day and we went to Smith's luau another night. The food was great and it is all you can eat and drink, including alcohol. While at Smith's we also took the river cruise to the fern grotto. One day we went on the train ride at the Plantation. The grand kids liked feeding the wild pigs and chickens. We went paddle boarding at Nawiliwili beach and drove to the North and West sides of the island. The North shore was beautiful. There are a lot of rivers, beautiful beaches, and waterfalls. On the West shore we went to the coffee plantation and had lunch at the Shrimp Station in Waimea.
We loved the time we spent on Kauai. I only wish we would have had another week."

"Very nice kitchen, bathroom, living room. Quiet first floor patio and easy walk to the parking lot. We used the beach chairs, snorkeling gear and the little ice chest in the laundry room closet as well as washer and dryer. TV's in living and bedrooms worked well, would have like a channel guide somewhere. Coffee maker was great and all types of kitchen utensils available. Easy walk to pool, gym, beach, etc. The beach at the resort is not user friendly but many within walking or bike ride are.
This resort is in a nice location. Easy to walk to numerous restaurants, Starbucks, grocery, Subway, Panda, etc. Great bike trail starts at this resort and heads about 3 miles North. We rented bikes and used the trail many times. We would use this condo again."

"My husband and I rented condo G107 a few weeks ago. The condo property is a great location; halfway point for the North side of the island and the southwest. Pool area was great and usually not crowded on days when we had down time to just relax and tan. Loved the beach area at the property, not a huge beach, but it was never busy. Lounge chairs are stacked up by the beach and you can carry them out as needed. we had coffee watching the sun rise almost every morning on the beach.
While the condo G107 was great (granite counters, high end appliances, etc) here are the pros and cons: Pro - ground floor makes it easy to carry things in/out each day. close to parking. close to beach and pool. Con - really no view. I would stay at this resort again, but I think I would book one of the rooms with an ocean view.
Had a great time, and all the staff at the property where very helpful. Kauai is our favorite island of the islands!!"
