Perfect place to stay while on Kauai
"After visiting Maui a few years back and staying at Honua Kai, my husband and I wanted to find a similar place to stay while visiting Kauai. This condo ended up being amazing!! From the initial emails and quick responses from the owner (Laura), to the booking process was easy. After final payment, our room access code was sent to us. Check-in was a breeze. The condo location on the property was amazing. Far from the main road so you don't get the road noise, a beautiful ocean view, a nice view of the interior property grounds (pool, etc) and a short walk form the parking lot. I was amazed that a resort of this size never felt crowded. Most days there were a hand full of people in and around the pool area and lots of parking spots available.
The condo itself was well furnished with the normal household kitchen item, along with many miscellaneous items. (Beach chairs, large beach towels, cooler, etc) It was easy to find upon arrival and spotless when we walked in.
Its location in Kauai worked perfectly for us as it was in a central location. Every day we could easily go exploring to the north or south and not have to drive for hours. Directly across the street are two grocery stores and lots of other small stores as well. This made it easy for us to make quick trips to grab groceries without having to go out of the way.
Overall, of visiting Kauai again, I would stay here in a heartbeat."

"I almost didn't write a review for fear of letting out a secret and making it tough to get a reservation next year.
This is the second time we have stayed at Waipouli Beach Resort. It is a beautiful property, quiet and relaxing. Great for kids ( our first trip) and adults this time. The unit we stayed in had everything we could have asked for. I may be partial but I think it is the best unit on the property. All rooms open on to you private lanaiwith the ocean right in front of you. Because no other unit adjoin you the lawn in front is only used by you. It is located next to Oasis Lounge which is a very nice resturant.
If I was going to be critical of anything it woud be one room with twin beds which was not really a problem for my brother and his wife and the walk from the parking lot. That is being pretty nit picky. If you haven't been to Kauai you are in for a treat.
We can hardly wait to get back and hopwefully in the same unit."

"We could not have asked for a better location, resort or a better condo to call home during our visit to Kauai. The condo was amazing and exactly what the pictures depicted, top to bottom the very best! We didn't even turn on any of the TVs and spent a lot of time on the lanai. With the patio doors open, we were able to enjoy the ocean view, sounds and never felt warm with the breeze off the ocean. We woke up each morning, ate breakfast from the lanai and enjoyed watching the whales. The pool, slides and lazy river were just some of the many great features of the resort. The restaurant on site is great also and has an amazing happy hour that we utilized each day! If you go to Oasis, ask to sit in Henry's section, he is amazing and will take great care of you. We will definitely return and without a doubt stay in this same condo.
One last note, the owner was very attentive and responsive to our emails and questions. He really made the stay enjoyable and welcoming too."

The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was very clean.
I was very happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
Overall, a very nice stay in unit D304. Love Waipouli Beach Resort and stay there every time I visit Kauai for the location, convenience, pool, beach, etc. Kitchen could have used more dishes and glassware (i.e. only 3 wine glasses for a condo that claims to sleep 6). Furniture was a bit worn and dated. Liked the extras in the unit (i.e. beach chairs, cooler, snorkel gear). I've stayed in other units with much nicer furnishings for less money, so not sure this unit is the best value overall."
