  • Kauai Adventure

"Ray & Sandy have a great place with beautiful views of the ocean. Fantastic location with convenient shopping and restaurant choices nearby. If you need to explore and get to know the island this is the place to make it happen. Thanks for a comfortable place to relax after, hiking, snorkeling, surfing, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking and photographing the natural wonders of Kauai. Aloha and Mahalo!"

  • Breathtaking Views! Great Location!

"Your mouth will drop when you walk into the door and see this place for the first time! All we could say was "WOW!" when you feast your eyes on the view. The house is at the end of a quiet street on top of a hill overlooking Kealia Beach. You also get views of the mountains from the decks. The house was very clean upon arrival. During our stay we did find a scorpion, geckos, and lizards throughout the property. We also had dolphins and whales outside of the property almost every morning that could be viewed easily from the picnic table outside between 6-9am. I highly recommend bringing binoculars for an even closer look! The walk down to the beach is very sketchy and not recommended for those without good balance. The walking path is very steep and has a lot of overgrown vegetation. Luckily, we rented Jeeps and were able to just drive our Jeeps right down onto the beach. The location of this property is centrally located. The east side of the island can be quite wet at times, so if you want to get away from the rain I highly recommend taking a day trip to the south side to get some sun. However, the north side of the island was my favorite. The north and south sides of the island are completely different. Explore! Explore! Explore! I gave this property 4 out of 5 because of the following reasons: -the lighting in the downstairs bathrooms are very dark -we were missing several knives in the kitchen -the gas grill outside was didn't have a full propane tank and we had to call mgmt to replace it. Once we got it up and running, it burners weren't fully operational....definitely something they should have serviced. -the boogie boards were broken and couldn't be used -they advertise the bike path near the property, but there are no bikes on the property to utilize it -The pictures also show a garage, but the owner locked it up so the guests can't use it"

  • Super great all around stay.

"Great spot SUPER close to the beach with a one minute walk to a pool and hot tub, grill and bar area. I wouldn't call it luxury but I would certainly call it clean, economic, functional, inviting, and a place that has EVERYTHING you'd need as a home base. The most important part of your Hawaii vacation is getting there and then venturing out. Recommendations: Snorkeling on Poipu Beach Snorkeling on Tunnel's Beach Hiking (NouNou Trail) Watching the sunrise/sunset Beach House, Montico's, Juice Bars, Kountry Kitchen, Trees Lounge (for something close and convenient) Just driving around is fun! Coffee Plantation Botanical Gardens Luau Ukulele lessons Tons more - whatever you're interested in you can find. I'd definitely return and recommend to family and friends. Celia was great to work with and it all went quite well! One thing I would say that is unrelated to this place is "DO NOT FLY DELTA.""

  • A hidden Jewel of the Island

"Without hesitation, this vacation cottage is my absolute favorite place to stay on Kapaa. The cottage is clean, comfortable, quiet and private. The beach is directly across the street providing amazing sunrises and glassy ocean full moon evenings. Kapaa Town is 2 blocks away. Running to the store picking up last minute groceries or just checking out the markets and shops was a short walk and no hassles at all. The freedom and convenience to just "let my vacation happen", no stress of planning activities, rides, etc, made for an extraordinary vacation. Larry, the property host, has provided everything his guests may need and more. He is available and extremely approachable should you have questions about the cottage or the Island. There is something about this cottage that was incredibly nurturing. An absolutely delightful experience. I cant wait to go back!!! Aloha"
