  • Best revitalizing holiday ever!

"As a single traveler, I had to write about what an amazing experience I had during my 3 week stay at Kevin and Angela’s condo which was clean, beautiful, and had everything a person would need. It was safe, fun and so relaxing. The ocean front view, access to the beaches, the amazing breeze, warm sand, sun on your skin, the sound of the waves, and the fresh salt air was absolutely spectacular. It was the most revitalizing holiday I have ever had. It felt like a massive hug from mother-nature! When I returned home, going through border security the guard said to me – it’s back to reality for you! Sadly I had to agree!"

  • Perfect Location

"This condo was in the perfect location in Kauai. Traveling to the north and south is very easy for day trips. Having the washer and dryer was essential. There are plenty of beach toys, towels, mats and coolers available for use. The beach and pool on site was awesome. We snorkeled, swam and laid out on the beach daily. It was an easy 10 minute drive from the airport. There is only one major road going north to south, so it is very easy to navigate. There are 2 grocery stores less than a mile and the Coconut Marketplace is in walking distance. The town of Kapa'a was a great little town to shop and eat. The grounds were beautifully maintained. Only drawback, we were there when there was a heat wave, which was great for the beach but sleeping at night sometimes was a bit warm as there is no AC (in most homes they do not need it there). The Oasis restaurant and Hukilau Lanai far exceed any restaurants on the island in our opinion. We attended the Kalamaku Luau which was awesome. Lastly on a trip to Napoli Coast we used Capt Andys and we would pay to go again and again ( I cant say enough good things). Cant wait for our next trip, leaving the island was very hard!"

  • Great Value. Wonderful Location. A Little Gem!!

"We recently spent a week at Kathleen's beautiful condo and cannot praise it enough. The Pono Kai resort is beautifully maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is idyllic. This is ocean front and the view is sensational. You can basically swim directly out the front. If you like to walk then the walking path(also located out the front) allows you to explore the local area for miles and there are some wonderful vistas along the way. Also there are a variety of restaurants, supermarkets and specialty stores within walking distance. Its location at Kapaa is central and you can easily explore the island's north and southern shores from this location. The unit itself is clean and well maintained. The air conditioning works well but struggles to get to the bed room however, Kathleen makes up for this by providing abundant fans as well as the ceiling fans (also the cool trade winds have a wonderful effect). The kitchen is large and exceptionally well equipped with every appliance and gadget you can think of. The bathroom is clean and has a bath tub with the shower in it. There was a generous provision of towels, beach towels and a bathroom starter pack. In addition, there was beach chairs, beach umbrellas, coolers, fishing rods and boogie boards. The in room safe was also useful. If you needed to wash your clothes, the laundry was 10 metres away and had efficient coin operated washers and dryers. Also, the Wi Fi worked exceptionally well and allowed you to keep in contact with the outside world. Finally the cable TV had many channels to view and worked well. The photos do not tell any lies. This is a great unit and I hope to be able to get back to it again in the near future. Kathleen, the owner is helpful and speedily replied to any emails. A little gem!!!!!"
