  • Perfect!

"This was my wife and my first time to Kauai and this unit was absolutely perfect. The views from the bedroom and two patios was even better than we could have imagined. Much like the rest of the island, pictures don't do it justice. We did a tremendous amount of research prior to booking and even did some driving to look at a few of our other 'finalist' options. We clearly made the right choice. The proximity to the ocean, beech, pool, restaurants, grocery, north, south, and west is unbeatable. We've been to plenty of places, and this was the best vacation of our lives. We can't wait to stay in the same unit and du it all over again."

  • Perfect Vacation!

"We had an absolutely amazing time at Waipouli! The unit was beautiful, spacious, and had more amenities than I could count. You can tell that the owners care a lot about this place! They provided snorkel gear, straw beach mats, games and books, numerous toiletries, and any kitchen appliance you could possibly need. Whether we were hanging out by the pool, having a drink at the delicious on-site restaurant, or exploring the nearby shops and beaches there was always something to do! If you're able to rent a car I would suggest it - there are so many awesome places to check out within a 45 minute drive. The area around Waipouli has a lot of nice restaurants and scenery as well, and some great places to get engaged... :) Thanks again for a wonderful time. We will definitely be back!"

  • Nicely furnished, clean, centrally located studio

"Corner unit condo in resort had a small patio with two chairs and a table. Nice view of landscaped area right outside and ocean a short distance away. Condo didn't have wifi but had TV and DVD player (DVDs rentable at local grocery stores). Two double beds and dining table for two was nice. Kitchen had microwave, mini fridge, coffeemaker, plates, cups, silverware, and lots of cooking utensils. Plenty of bath towels were provided, including 2 beach towels. Boogie boards, lawn chairs, picnic cooler, and snorkel equipment came in handy. Resort pool and hot tub were nice too. The only thing to note is that sometimes parking at the resort was full but parking curbside by the nearby mall was fine as a back-up. Nice place for a home base to come back to every day after snorkeling, hiking, or just exploring the island. Everything was more than sufficient for my husband and I. Thank you for the comfortable condo!"

  • Best place to stay on East side of Kauai!

"This was my second stay in Gary & Barbara's condo at PonoKai and it is my favorite! The location of PonoKai, and especially this unit is perfect for me. The privacy and usual quietness of the unit, as well as ocean view, make this ideal. I love being in Kapaa town, close to restaurants and shops, especially quilting stores, Vicky's and Kapaia Stitchery. The Trade winds are wonderful for freshness and cooling most of the time. When VOG blows in, a fan is needed. Gary's unit is stocked with just about everything you could want or need in kitchen or for outdoor excursions. Gary always responds to questions and the local caretakers are responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this unit for anyone."

East Kauai Vacation Rentals Are Where You Can Make a Splash on the Garden Isle

Kauai, Hawaii is known as the Garden Isle for its spectacular natural beauty and amazing East Kauai vacation rentals. As soon as you check into your Kauai lodging, you will immediately want to explore the gorgeous fauna and flora surrounding you. From hiking in paradise to taking a whale-watching cruise, there are certainly plenty of options for exploring the unique natural beauty that is Kauai, all conveniently located near Kauai condos.

East Kauai Vacation Rentals Allow You to Get in Touch with Nature

Kauai condos provide you with the perfect opportunity to explore one of the most famous hiking trails in this region of the world, Kalalau Trail. Not intended for the faint of heart, this 11-mile trail will provide you with unparalleled views of the sea cliffs that comprise the coast. For an even more beautiful hike situated not far from Kauai lodging, consider taking the two-mile Ke'e Beach hike. After viewing exceptional coastline views, the trail will take you through ohia, kuki and bamboo tree groves before concluding at a cozy little beach nestled near a sea cave.

Kauai Condos to Relax in Seclusion

If you are looking for a quiet place to get away and enjoy some time away from the hustle and bustle, East Kauai vacation rentals are also located near one of the most attractive and secluded beaches on the island. Ke'e Beach is considered to be at its best by many early in the morning, providing the opportunity to explore the reef located just offshore. You can also enjoy a calm lagoon and a host of different sea life, such as barracuda and turtles, if you feel up to snorkeling. Just make sure you leave your Kauai lodging early enough to beat the crowds.

Take a Whale-watching Cruise near Kauai Lodging

If you plan to time your vacation in Kauai condos during humpback whale season, which runs from December through April, then you will certainly be in for a treat. During this time, these gentle giants come specifically to the beaches of Kauai to give birth. Take a whale-watching cruise and enjoy the opportunity to view whales as close as 50 yards from your boat. Cruises depart not far from East Kauai vacation rentals.
