"Our family, including an 11 and 13 year old, stayed at your condo and really enjoyed our time there. Very modern, big bed with soft sheets, new appliances, great view of the pool with partial view of the ocean. Liked the pool and sand bottom hot tubs. Great very shallow wading pool if you had toddlers. The kids favourite part was the waterfall cave. Very cool restaurant and bar located right on the Ocean. The condo is in a good location too. Half way to the north end and half way to the west side of the island. We wanted to get around to different beaches so it split up the options. Great boogie boarding (which we used from the ones provided in the condo) and wave jumping just 5 mins north too. We Used the beach chairs and cooler provided as well. The only nice to have would be a swim friendly beach area at the resort but there are so many good beaches to go see it was a pretty minor thing for us. Also found the Safeway right across the road to be a huge convenience which made it a breeze to get fresh vegetables each day. Cooking some of our own meals helped save a few dollars but cooking steaks by the pool with a cold beer was pretty cool too. Overall I would say it exceeded our expectations and made us enjoy waking up and coming back to the unit each day. Thanks for helping create some life long memories. Cheers, Happy Calgarians"Guest: Kelly L. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 20, 2014View listing
"Our group of six had a great time at this property, and all agreed that, in all our many trips to Kauai (for some spanning over 30 years), it was our favorite accommodation. With four bedrooms and three bathrooms, I think the property works best for a group of between five and eight. The pictures do not capture how stunningly beautiful the view of the beach is from the large dining table, living room and deck – all are great gathering places and, at this time of year, also wonderful for whale viewing. The kitchen has all you need to prepare group meals, and there is a barbecue on the deck for preparing the usually available local fresh fish (best place for fish continues to be the Fish Express in Lihue). As with many (most) beach houses, upkeep and fix-it availability are key issues when considering a rental. Roger Lasky, who has been the caretaker for this property for the past seven years, lives within ten minutes of the property and was very responsive and capable in assisting us with minor fix-up details. He’s a great guy and also a good source of information about local resources and things to do. Anahola Beach where the property is a half-a-mile sandy beach on a nice bay that, depending on conditions, can be good for swimming, boogie-boarding, kayaking, paddle boarding or other water activities. The houses along the beach appear to be equally occupied by residents and vacation renters. We found people to be friendly, and the remarkable little beach dog, Sardine, who lives next door, the friendliest of all (Sardine of Anahola has a well-deserved local rep for being friendly & has her own Facebook page). Away from the beach, the rest of the small town is working-class residents. For provisioning or restaurants, you should probably plan on making the 5-10 minute drive into Kapaa. Many thanks again to the owner and Mr. Lasky for a great vacation experience."Guest: Gordon Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: March 11, 2014View listing
"My husband, son, and I had a great stay at This condo. The descriptioon of the condo was right on and perfectly detailed. The unit was very clean and neat upon arrival, and was beautifully decorated. The view from the condo was awesome! As described, the grounds at this facility were gorgeous. There were plenty of grocery stores and restaurants close by, and the Condo is centrally located in Kauai to drive to all the great spots on the Island. We were very comfortable and pleased with our choice of lodging. We had a memorable time and will be back to stay at this wonderful condo. Thank You so much!!"Guest: Ak Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 13, 2014View listing
"We staid for a week at this wonderful unit and enjoyed our time there immensely. Great condo, very clean, spacious and nicely appointed, high end appliances, very comfy bed and great jacuzzi bathtub. It really feels like home away from home. Pool area is a lot of fun and Oasis cafe have great food and super cocktails. Too bad we had only one week there, would definitely go back there for longer next time."Guest: Kdraver Date of Stay: March 2013 Review Submitted: May 16, 2013View listing
