"Wiapouli Beach Resort was a perfect family destination. Our 4 Grandkiddos loved the water slides, meandering river with waterfalls along the way, and the hot tubs with the sandy bottoms. Beach side of the property, provided kids ample room to " dig to China." Apartment was roomy and slept 8 comfortably. Pool side grills and a very accommodating kitchen made cooking down right pleasant! Give Wiapouli a try for a fun, family fling!"Guest: Cheryl L. "This was the perfect cottage for two couples! We each had our own master area and could go to sleep every evening to the sound of the ocean and the feel of the tradewinds blowing across the room! The location was the most convenient on the island as well. Easy drives to the west and north shores and Safeway was about two blocks away. The kitchen was super stocked. All of our meals were prepared on that fantastic Wolfe stove or the large grill outside and always eaten on the front porch with a great ocean view! We had a couple of questions and Dawn was very helpful and quick to respond! The wifi was super fast so if you had to download your pictures of the day it took only a few minutes. Sunrise provided ample fluffy towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, kayaks, and coolers. We did not see any bugs inside and the cottage was extremely clean. There are ceiling fans in every room except the bathrooms- they can get a little heated but not uncomfortable. There is a nice selection of informational books on Kauai as well as movies, although we never had the TV on the entire time....who would want to watch TV in Kauai???? The mattresses were extremely comfortable but a warning, the roosters start crowing and the Zebra Doves start cooing at 5:30 a.m. We didn't mind because watching the sunrises every morning was pure luxury! The moon was full while we were there so sitting outside on the red lawn chairs made for a perfect, relaxing evening! The front porch is the perfect place for chilling and people watching as they walk and bike down the bicycle path."Guest: Tanya F. "The condo is centrally located on island. The condo is located between two state parks. On left side (while looking at ocean), the park has great swimming cove with no waves. Many fish in their…bring food to feed them while smoking. Outside swim area on beach, you have small waves in morning and larger waves in afternoon. It was nice option to just walk outside to beach vs. driving. The property has three gas weber grills. The kids enjoyed more swimming in evening as I grilled dinner. The unit could use some updates, but price is right for location and walk to ocean. Would stay again and hope to do so."Guest: Marc Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 6, 2014View listing
"The room was a neat, and clean third floor studio. (all rooms seem to be the same as I believe that it was once a motel or the like) It had a microwave, sink, small refrigerator and was air conditioned. The deck over looked the pool and out to the ocean. Some mornings you could see whales spouting from the deck. There was a table and two chairs out there to enjoy the view. I liked it for several reasons…. it was quiet, grounds were nice, beach was near, restaurants were close, coffee was served in the lobby at 8 am every morning and Kapaa is centrally located for travel to all points on the Island. Since we did travel a lot, we were not in the apartment very much. We were out and about. It is what we do. I would recommend this for it value, cleanliness, and location for two possibly three people… as there is a fold out. There is a local bus that some of the people were using so I guess a car in not a necessity."Guest: Snowshoe Date of Stay: January 2015 Review Submitted: January 25, 2015View listing
