"Wonderful week of rest, vacation, beach and beauty!! Loved that Kauai was just a modest plane ride away from LA, but seemed worlds away from my fast-paced daily life in the city. The condo is clean, very well-maintained and decorated with beautiful island decor. Food options and restaurants close nearby are delicious and seemed almost everything we yelped had great reviews. My fiancee and I really recommend the new Kauai Juice Co. just down the street, next to Java Kai, for fresh cold-pressed juices. We went there almost every day. Also, amazing new Mexican place called Verde (also still in Kapaa). For those adventurous and looking to keep busy, there are so many options for hiking, paddleboarding, kayaking, surfing, and much more nearby. Check out the Smiths Family Luau for a real treat! We are already planning our next trip and will certainly want to stay at this condo again!!"Guest: Kirsten Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 19, 2014View listing
"Our party of 3 adults had the pleasure of staying at this home for a week. I only wish I could have stayed longer. The house is immaculate and open and airy. You will not have to worry about air conditioning. I personally loved having my morning coffee on the lanai overlooking the valley and mountains. You can hear the sound of the river down below, very relaxing. It's located uphill from Kapa'a (the closest town) and is well situated to the airport and to explore both the North Shore and the South Shore. We did the whole island. Love Kauai! Love this place and hope to return again. FYI, we left Kauai at 75 degrees on Jan 4th and got back to Illlinois the next day where it was -15 degrees due to the Polar Vortex that affected much of the country. Talk about shock!"Guest: Maddie B. Date of Stay: December 2013 Review Submitted: January 10, 2014View listing
"We stayed for 5 days in August, and loved it! The condo has a beautiful ocean view and is so close that you can hear the waves. Very relaxing and enjoyable stay. This condo has a great location for exploring the island. It's a short drive to the North or South of the island, and it's very close to some great restaurants, too (some on property). Beach chairs, towels and cooler were provided. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi after returning from a day at the beach. Lovely welcome basket. Easy check in/check out. Great communication with owner. Highly recommend!"Guest: Elizabeth M. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 28, 2014View listing
