  • Comfortable condo, great location!

"We love Lae Nani! We have stayed in other units here before, and this one did not disappoint. My husband and I, along with a single adult friend, stayed for a week in August. The owner was friendly, professional, and easy to work with. The on-site manager was also pleasant, and seems to be doing a great job since Outrigger Resorts left the on-site office. The condo was clean, comfortable, nicely furnished, well-appointed, and had beautiful views from the lanai. Kapa'a is a convenient central location for exploring the island. There are plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. The beaches of Kapa'a are not the best on the island, but the small cove in front of Lae Nani is very nice, and so is the pool, and the grounds. The main road through Kapa'a gets congested at times, but Lae Nani is far enough off of it, that you don't hear the traffic, and you don't feel too close to it. You mainly see the ocean and hear the waves from inside the condo. We would totally stay here again, and recommend it to others! Mahalo Suzanne for sharing your condo, and for being flexible with our dates (our trip was slightly altered due to hurricanes), and prompt with our deposit refund."

  • Great location on resort!

"It was our first time to Kauai and did a lot of research on the island… but to keep it short and sweet and to the condo (mostly) I have to say that overall the condo was very comfortable. It was just my husband and I so having the extra bedroom was nice for luggage and gifts. As for the second bedrooms shower…well I didn't care for it at all lol. I tried using it the night we landed and water went everywhere and I was to short to try to adjust the head and I never tried to use it again so I don't know if it was me or a faulty shower head. Everything else in the condo was absolutely perfect. The bed was great! The location was fantastic. So close to the pool and beach. One thing I wish I did know before choosing this location was that while the beach was beautiful but you couldn't get in the water due to coral and tons of rocks. So that part was a little disappointing but no big deal. On one of the nice days we ended up going to Hanalei Bay which is by far the best beach in Kauai!! And on another nice day we went up the road a few miles and tried that beach as well. I don't remember what it was called but although it was rougher it was still fun :) The pool at the resort was great when you didn't feel like leaving and we enjoyed that too. We were there 10 days and unfortunately we got rained on quite a bit so needless to say I was glad to have the extra space in the condo when tours got cancelled, the workout room close by, and a convenient location to figure out whether we wanted to drive north or south, both being about a 30 minute ride. So overall, I would say that the location to the resort was great for a first time to Kauai since we were there to explore but if you are there to get in the beach, well you might be disappointed. Condo was fantastic though and can't say enough about the location to that. Hope this helps future travelers :)"

"This condo was perfect, from check in to late check out our family had a fabulous time. All of the extras that Susan has provided make this condo a special treat for all, kids and adults alike. Much more spacious than anticipated, and very well furnished and equipped. First time in Kauai and we will be back."

  • Amazing Unit and Location

"This condo was AMAZING. I searched for a while on Homeaway and was slightly scared that the condo furnishing would be dated given the low price but no, the pictures were spot on. The condo was modern, extremely comfortable and clean. Gary, the owner, has everything you need in the condo - beach mats, snorkel gear, appliances, cleaning supplies, dryer/washer etc. Gary was also very helpful from the moment my boyfriend and I inquired about the unit until he returned our deposit after our stay. He even sent us various guides to help us start planning our vacation after we reserved. The location of the resort made life pretty convenient. Since you can't drive completely around the island, staying on the east side of the island makes driving to the south side and north side easier in our opinion. Also, a Safeway is right across the street. On Wednesdays, there is a farmer's market by Kapa'a town square, 5 minutes from the resort, where you can buy a wide variety of fruit and vegetables. As for the location of the unit, it's the first unit at the right corner of the resort. It's the closest unit to the parking lot and if you're hauling in luggage or grocery, the lanai patio door makes it super easy. The resort also has excellent amenities. We highly recommend this condo and will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Kauai.."
