  • Great location, lots of things included. On beach and close to pool!

"Stayed here Sat June 28th through Sat July 5th with my wife for our honeymoon. First off, great location for Kauai. Close to the airport so you can decompress quickly after the long flight in and centrally located on the island. Hanalei and the beaches up north are ~35-40 minutes away and the awesome hiking in Koke'e state park (Waimea Canyon) are just a little bit farther than that. Very close to lots of restaurants, grocery stores (Safeway and Foodland nearby) and lots of farmers markets, depending on the day. After you've picked up some delicious local food, you have a fully equipped kitchen to work with & the grill @ the pool is top notch. The beach at the condo is a little narrow and the water is rough (owners are upfront, they don't recommend swimming), but you get sunrise over the ocean every morning and Lydgate park beach is an easy walk away (you can drive it too, plenty of parking). Lydgate has wider stretches of sand, calmer water and great snorkeling for beginners. You've got coolers, beach chairs, beach umbrella and snorkel gear. We did not have to worry about picking up a thing or renting. The owners even had sunscreen and bug spray. To top it off, they had a bottle of champagne waiting for us and accomodated a late check out (full disclosure, no one was booked for that Saturday we left but still they didn't have to work with me on that - much appreciated!) The owners have a whole book listing restaurant recommendations, beach recommendations, activities, solid tour recommendations (we did a boat tour with Captain Andy's) and they were pretty spot on. Also helpful considering we were completely new to Hawaii and Kauai. Pictures of the property were spot on, the description was accurate and the place was clean and maintained well. Overall, it was everything we had hoped it would be. Thanks for the great honeymoon stay!!"

  • Great Value

"We have stayed at the Kaha Lani at least 10 times and we have stayed in this unit three times. There are more upscale units but of all the units we have stayed in this is by far the best value for your money."

  • Exceptional

"This was by far the best family vacation on the islands we've had. The condo is perfectly located for easy access to the island sights and has a breathtaking view. The owner has gone above and beyond to make this a home away from home. Even two Hurricanes and an earthquak didn't put a dull on this condo's shine. I have already recommended this place to everyone for a Perfect family vacation. Thanks for the memories."

  • What a perfect place for a vacation.

"The condo locaton is great ..right in the middle of the island, so you can go north or south as you please. If you are a bike rider, the bike path begins right at the driveway to the resort! The view is fabulous and you can spend hours just relaxing on the lanai and enjoying that view!!! You can walk to many restaurants as well at grocery stores. The condo itself is well appointed and very comfortable as well as immaculately clean. I am hoping to stay here again on my next trip to the wonderful island of Kauai."

East Kauai Vacation Rentals Are Where You Can Make a Splash on the Garden Isle

Kauai, Hawaii is known as the Garden Isle for its spectacular natural beauty and amazing East Kauai vacation rentals. As soon as you check into your Kauai lodging, you will immediately want to explore the gorgeous fauna and flora surrounding you. From hiking in paradise to taking a whale-watching cruise, there are certainly plenty of options for exploring the unique natural beauty that is Kauai, all conveniently located near Kauai condos.

East Kauai Vacation Rentals Allow You to Get in Touch with Nature

Kauai condos provide you with the perfect opportunity to explore one of the most famous hiking trails in this region of the world, Kalalau Trail. Not intended for the faint of heart, this 11-mile trail will provide you with unparalleled views of the sea cliffs that comprise the coast. For an even more beautiful hike situated not far from Kauai lodging, consider taking the two-mile Ke'e Beach hike. After viewing exceptional coastline views, the trail will take you through ohia, kuki and bamboo tree groves before concluding at a cozy little beach nestled near a sea cave.

Kauai Condos to Relax in Seclusion

If you are looking for a quiet place to get away and enjoy some time away from the hustle and bustle, East Kauai vacation rentals are also located near one of the most attractive and secluded beaches on the island. Ke'e Beach is considered to be at its best by many early in the morning, providing the opportunity to explore the reef located just offshore. You can also enjoy a calm lagoon and a host of different sea life, such as barracuda and turtles, if you feel up to snorkeling. Just make sure you leave your Kauai lodging early enough to beat the crowds.

Take a Whale-watching Cruise near Kauai Lodging

If you plan to time your vacation in Kauai condos during humpback whale season, which runs from December through April, then you will certainly be in for a treat. During this time, these gentle giants come specifically to the beaches of Kauai to give birth. Take a whale-watching cruise and enjoy the opportunity to view whales as close as 50 yards from your boat. Cruises depart not far from East Kauai vacation rentals.
