  • Excellent Property - exceeded expectations

"Our stay at the Ginger Beach House was terrific! There was plenty of space for two families of 4 (41-8 years old). We were often the only people on the breach at Anahola Bay. The waves were perfect for boogie boarding and on one end of the bay the water is very calm for it is protects by a reef. The reef is also a great spot to snorkel! We spent several of our days just relaxing on the beach and enjoying the property. We loved that the home had everything we needed from garbage bags to laundry detergent. The kitchen was fully stocked with quality cookware. We grilled fresh fish on the gas grill almost every night and ate at the large outdoor table. We hope to travel to Kauai again soon and stay at the Ginger Beach House again!"

  • Best view on Kauai

"My wife and I just spent 9 days enjoying Shayne's great condo. It was 1/2 way between any destination you wanted to visit on the Island. We kayaked the Wailua River( 400 yards away) and it was easy for first time kayakers.Drove up to top of Waimea Canyon;just like Grand Canyon-only greener.Took Capt. Andy's dinner cruise out of Port Allen and up the NaPali coast.Fantastic ! Best part of our vacation.Within walking distance from the unit are several good restaurants. We liked Monico's Taqueria best .Went there twice for dinner.Be there at 5:00 p.m. when they open for a table. They get busy.It was fun finding other restaurants. Most of them are within 1 1/2 miles. The unit has everything you need to cook with.Great coffee maker !Very comfortable king size bed. 2 TV's.What more could you ask for ? The onsite pool was clean and comfortable.Usually we were the only people there.Mainly, the unit was very nice to come back to after a day of exploring all over the island. From the balcony lanai, you are about 75 feet from the waters edge.No kidding. ! You can hear the surf pounding and look out over the bay and down the coast.Truely a magnificent view.Shayne also responds to your inquires the same day.Very helpful with ideas for your trip.We had a great time."

  • Great Location

"Second time at Kapaa Sands. Everything is run well and kept nicely in the complex. This condo is great for 2 people who want to stay in a central location and be right on the ocean. You can walk for miles along the beachfront path right from your condo. Full kitchen is well-equipped and a good size for a studio. We cooked and had everything we needed. And the weather is lovely! Owner responsive and helpful. Will return!"

  • Our Place on Kauai

"We love this cottage in Anahola; returning for the 3rd year. The setting is peaceful, serene, and beautiful - perfect place to unwind and relax. The native Hawaiian farm feels natural, rustic, and inviting. The cottage is warm and homey- with all the amenities you need to be comfortable. We cooked/bbq most all our meals. Wonderful ocean view and breezes. Spectacular sunrises from your bed. We loved just sitting out on lawn chairs and loungers to read with a cool drink. So quiet and peaceful. Outstanding hospitality with all the special touches you do not find in other rentals. This has become our place on Kauai!"

East Kauai Vacation Rentals Allow You to Get in Touch with Nature

Kauai condos provide you with the perfect opportunity to explore one of the most famous hiking trails in this region of the world, Kalalau Trail. Not intended for the faint of heart, this 11-mile trail will provide you with unparalleled views of the sea cliffs that comprise the coast. For an even more beautiful hike situated not far from Kauai lodging, consider taking the two-mile Ke'e Beach hike. After viewing exceptional coastline views, the trail will take you through ohia, kuki and bamboo tree groves before concluding at a cozy little beach nestled near a sea cave.

If you are looking for a quiet place to get away and enjoy some time away from the hustle and bustle, East Kauai vacation rentals are also located near one of the most attractive and secluded beaches on the island. Ke'e Beach is considered to be at its best by many early in the morning, providing the opportunity to explore the reef located just offshore. You can also enjoy a calm lagoon and a host of different sea life, such as barracuda and turtles, if you feel up to snorkeling. Just make sure you leave your Kauai lodging early enough to beat the crowds.

Take a Whale-watching Cruise near Kauai Lodging

If you plan to time your vacation in Kauai condos during humpback whale season, which runs from December through April, then you will certainly be in for a treat. During this time, these gentle giants come specifically to the beaches of Kauai to give birth. Take a whale-watching cruise and enjoy the opportunity to view whales as close as 50 yards from your boat. Cruises depart not far from East Kauai vacation rentals.
