  • Great condo

"We traveled to Kauai as a group for 12 days and were very happy with this condo. It is on a 2nd floor with no ramp or elevator so you need to be able to handle stairs if you stay here. It was exactly as pictured, clean, had a nice kitchen stocked with plenty of pots, pans, dishes including a dishwasher & garbage disposal. Toilets were low flow & slow to flush but had no issues with them & showers worked great. The condo is missing chairs & beach items that would have been nice to have. Access to all the pools at the hotel was very nice but swimming in the ocean was fantastic too. Location is central on the island so it's easy to go north or south depending on your plans for the day. A car is definitely needed to get around. All in all a great place to stay with an amazing view of the ocean which was priceless! Mahalo"

  • Great family-friendly condo!

"Aloha! My husband, myself and our 4 children (ages 14, 9, 9 and 9) stayed here for a week and loved every minute of it! You really can not beat the location. Not only can you walk right out to the beach or over to the pool, but all other amenities (shopping, snorkeling, luau, etc) for tourists were only a short drive away. The condo itself was very clean, well laid-out and organized just as the photos indicate. Our only concern would be sleeping 6. Luckily, one of our youngest was small enough to use two chairs pulled together to sleep on as the futon wasn't comfortable for two of them to sleep on. But this did NOT in any way ruin our time there. We enjoyed the sunrises, the sounds of the ocean and the quiet neighbors. We really felt at home and were able to truly relax! We highly recommend staying here not just because of everything I have already mentioned but also because Chad is SOOOOOOO easy to work with. He was responsive to all of our questions. He even served as our concierge at times :). I hope we are able to return again as we would without even a second thought! Mahalo!"

  • Excellent Value - Incredible Location

"This was our 1st trip to Kauai - but will certainly not be our last. The Kauai Beach resort was really a great choice for us. The pools w/waterfalls were greatly enjoyable. The poolside bar was friendly. Our room couldn't have been nicer. And the view of the mountains from the room was spectacular. Thank you Keith for all your help. We enjoyed our stay immensely"

  • Convenient location!

"Great location, less than 15 minutes to the airport and convenient, equi-distant location in terms of other activities on the island. We didn't want to stay in Princeville because it would have been too far from Waimea Canyon, and we didn't want to stay in Poipu because it would have been too far from the North Shore...voila! Kailua Beach Resort. Room was a standard hotel room, clean, and had a fantastic view of the pool/palm trees/landscaping. Mini fridge came in handy. Beach is unswimmable (which we knew) and lots of little kids at the pool. If you are looking for a quiet resort experience and plan to stay on the grounds the whole time, then this would NOT be the place for you. However, if you just need a comfortable and convenient base camp (like we did), then it fits the bill perfectly. Resort had more amenities than I thought (gym, restaurants), but we didn't take advantage of them since we were always out doing other things. Actually, I take that back; we did have Happy Hour one day from 5-7pm at the lobby restaurant, Shutters. Quick drive to Walmart to pick up necessities (7 mins) as well as to Kapaa for awesome breakfast at Java Kai. Kapaa in general was such a cute town a little drive away - two favorite restaurants were Verde (fish tacos) and Hukilau Lanai (fresh, local, original food). All in all, this hotel room suited our needs well."
