  • Very clean and convenient

"This condo is in an excellent location. After I gave up my rental car I was able to use the local bus to get around. The grills were so close and handy. The owner included lots of extras that made our stay even more like home. Beach, shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Great place to stay. Would book there again for sure."

  • Heaven is Kauai

"Just finished my stay at this property. It was everything that was advertised. You walk into the main room and you are taken away with the beautiful views of Kalapaki Beach. They you walk into the two bedrooms and you have the same beautiful views. Imagine going to sleep and waking up to waves crashing into the rocks below the home. Slept like a baby! Spent the majority of our time at the Marriott pool. Beach a stones throw from the pool. Walk to the pool and beach less than five minutes from the home. Never minded the walk because I knew I wouldn't be confined to a hotel room. My wife and I were able to use the jogging trials throughout the property and the golf course. Rented vehicle to get around Kauai. No problems with parking next to the home. Poipu and other kid friend beaches within 1/2 and hour from home. Good food at Dukes and Feral Pig. My trip ended on 4/10/15, and I still can't get the beautiful views out of my mind. Planning trip for next year. Thank you Steve for the use of your beautiful home!"

  • If I Discover Tht Heaven Isn't Like This, I'm Coming Back!

"We spent two idyllic months in this condo. We found it spacious and immaculate. Everything was in place and in good repair. We enjoyed having morning coffee on the lanai while watching the magnificent humpback whales frolic and put on a show. The condo's location couldn't be better -- oceanfront, with easy driving to both the North and South beaches. Judy is the manager, and she is so wonderful! We took advantage of her recommendations on good places to explore, to eat, and to shop. When we first arrived, we discovered there was no coffee grinder. Within an hour, Judy provided us with one. She is a treasure, making sure that we had adequate linens, utensils and anything else we might require. The condo is both comfortable and tastefully decorated. We took advantage of the outdoor grills and we met a lot of people there, from year-round residents to short-term vacationers. We love it so much here, we have already made reservations for next winter!"

  • Our stay in Kauai

"We liked the condo a lot, very nicely equipped with a great location - close to everything and yet private and quiet enough. We did not want the feeling of staying in a huge commercialized resort and this was very much what we found. The pools at the other accommodations at the hotel were really nice, very nice to simply be able to walk over and use them. We even got a 10% discount in the hotel restaurants. The beach directly outside the condo and hotel is not swimmable but just next door on the shore is. But as other reviews state - there are so many other awesome beaches and sights that you really should go out and travel and see them rather than staying put. We toured the canyon, the north-shore at Haena was particularly beautiful. We found good food in the Poipu area as well as enjoying the simplicity of the Kilauea Fish Market near the Kilauea light-house. But next time we'd probably opt to buy steaks at Safeway and do some barbequeing. We had an unusual and exceptionally hot week in Kauai in early October. There are a/c units only in the bedrooms. Leaving them on with the doors open to the living rooms worked well enough to keep us comfortable. Unfortunately the clothes dryer isn't vented outside so we couldn't use it while we were there, instead we air-dryed our clothes on the lanai without a problem. The condo is very nice and we'd surely go back and rent again. We liked being on the second floor for privacy aspects. Parking was plentiful and convenient and the condo was quiet and tranquil especially sitting out on the lanai at night listening to the surf and sipping a glass of wine."
