"We spent a week at KauaiDawn and had a great time. Place was very clean, great propane BBQ that we used a lot, great beach equipment so did not have to buy or rent. Dawn was a great hostess, welcoming us late at night after our flight arrived at 10pm and checking in a few days later as well. With the washer and dryer we were able to arrive with fairly empty suitaces and bring back lots of souvenirs. My wife is usually pretty picky and I check places out fairly well before reserving but I hit a home run this time. She says she thinks she belongs at KauaiDawn's. It's not a question of if we will be back but when. Mahalo, Ken and Heather"Guest: Ken H. Date of Stay: January 2014 Review Submitted: February 8, 2014View listing
"What a beautiful location, right on the ocean. The location puts you in the center of the island making it convenient to tour the rest of the island. We watched as whales breached the surface while relaxing on our lanai. The condo kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking utenciles one needs. There were beach toys and chairs there for our use. We had a problem with one of the bathroom sinks but it was fixed the next day. The only negative was the thick mold on the window treatment of the guest bedroom. You could scrape it off with your finger nail. If they take care of that problem I would reccomend this condo to anyone."Guest: Woody Date of Stay: March 2013 Review Submitted: April 4, 2013View listing

"We spent the last four days of our honeymoon in Kauai at this gorgeous condo. Everything was so clean and pristine inside. It was a great size for two people. We had all the amenities we needed. The views were spectacular of the mountains to the left and the beach to the right and the Kalapaki Bay right in front of you. It was in such a great location being in between the South shores (Poipu Beach) and Hanalei Bay/Princeville in the north. Half off greens fees was a nice bonus at Kauai Lagoons. It was a tremendous end to an awesome honeymoon and we would surely come back and stay here."Guest: Robin L. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 26, 2014View listing

With Lihue beach rentals, you get more space, multiple bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens, and all the amenities of home. Depending on the property, you can enjoy flat-panel TVs, DVD players, Jacuzzi tubs, private decks, balconies, and on-site washers and dryers. Vacation rentals make it easy to travel with families because kids can have a separate room. Enjoy grilling on the lanai while the kids take their morning naps. At night, consider a sunset sail or a dinner cruise.
Explore History With Kauai Travel
Through Kauai travel, you'll find many places to explore, including historical attractions. Lihue developed as a result of the sugar industry, and the island still hosts several operational plantations. You can tour the Kilohana plantation by horse-drawn carriage or the narrow gauge railroad installed for tourists before feasting at a traditional Hawaiian luau. In town you'll find the Kuaui Museum, a place filled with the rich cultural history of the island. If you're traveling with kids, plan a trip to one of the ancient Hawaiian temples in the nearby surrounding areas.
