  • fabulous place to stay

"Kauai Beach Villa G-6 managed by Kauai vacation rentals was a third floor ocean view condo. The condo was clean, and décor was done by a designer so was lovely. It was well stocked with kitchen items, travel books, binoculars, beach towels and small cooler. The room also overlooked a creek often used by locals for fishing. We were able to whale watch from our balcony. It was only a few steps to watch the sun rise. There is a remote beach that goes for miles in front of the condo that we enjoyed each day. Our condo was able to use the pools and hot tubs at the Kauai Beach resort. The Kauai Beach resort had a free ukulele show on Monday evening and a free hula show by the pool in the afternoon on Tuesday."

  • Simply splendid

"This was our first visit to Kauai but I can't imagine staying anyplace else in the future. The condo is exactly as advertised. Four of us shared the condo and had plenty of space. While we did not do much cooking, the kitchen was nicely appointed. The unit is separated from the Marriott hotel, but close enough to enjoy the amenities, plus there are plenty of dining and shopping (from souvenirs to necessities) within a short drive. I highly recommend this property."

  • Convenient location!

"Great location, less than 15 minutes to the airport and convenient, equi-distant location in terms of other activities on the island. We didn't want to stay in Princeville because it would have been too far from Waimea Canyon, and we didn't want to stay in Poipu because it would have been too far from the North Shore...voila! Kailua Beach Resort. Room was a standard hotel room, clean, and had a fantastic view of the pool/palm trees/landscaping. Mini fridge came in handy. Beach is unswimmable (which we knew) and lots of little kids at the pool. If you are looking for a quiet resort experience and plan to stay on the grounds the whole time, then this would NOT be the place for you. However, if you just need a comfortable and convenient base camp (like we did), then it fits the bill perfectly. Resort had more amenities than I thought (gym, restaurants), but we didn't take advantage of them since we were always out doing other things. Actually, I take that back; we did have Happy Hour one day from 5-7pm at the lobby restaurant, Shutters. Quick drive to Walmart to pick up necessities (7 mins) as well as to Kapaa for awesome breakfast at Java Kai. Kapaa in general was such a cute town a little drive away - two favorite restaurants were Verde (fish tacos) and Hukilau Lanai (fresh, local, original food). All in all, this hotel room suited our needs well."

  • Amazing!!!

"What an amazing property, we used to live on the island and can honestly say it is one of the nicest houses we have been in. Great views, great location, clean, luxurious, private, all the creature comforts and the option to use the Marriott facilities is a bonus. It was the best of both worlds, a nice private house to retreat to and feel like you are local and the option to be a tourist at the resort. I would highly recommend the property and Steve was a pleasure to deal with. Kalapaki beach is a great, safe, beach. It is never very crowded and Lihue is a great central location if you want to travel to all points of the island. We will definitely be back, thank you Steve for a great vacation."
