Very clean and well stocked
"After staying there it's easy to see why everyone gives it 5 stars. The house is absolutely clean and comfortable. It is very well stocked with quality products (Dawn, Clorox, Body Glove etc.). It is well located too, close to the south of the island and not a terribly long drive to the north. Checking in after hours was easy. It is very well decorated, we ran into no problems at all. The 3 air conditioning units work really well and certainly make it so much more comfortable. We rented 2 more places in Hawaii (on the Big Island) during our 2-week-long vacation and we all agree this was the best of them all. If we ever go back to Kauai that is definitely where we are staying again."

"My husband and I stayed at this condo for six wonderful nights. The location on Kauai is perfect - close to all amenities, but located just off the main street away from traffic and other noise. You can easily walk to the beach, spend time at the pool, or drive to just about anywhere on the island within an hour. The unit is set up so that you get a lovely cross breeze that keeps it cool, and it has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The bed was comfortable and the lanai a great place to have breakfast and/or cocktails. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. All in all, a really wonderful stay!

"My wife and I just stayed 5 days at Dawn's cottage, and it could not have been better! The cottage is hidden behind her home. It's nice and quiet, great spa, which we used at least twice a day, great kitchen as we love to cook. The BBQ made it easy to prepare all our food, be it eggs for breakfast to local fish for dinner. Everything is close to the property, so easy to get around. Dawn has thought of everything. Towels for the beach, snorkel equipment to use, even a small flash light and bottle opener in the extra backpack she provides for you. Dawn made everything so easy and it just felt like home. If you end up booking some time here, make sure to read the book of history on the house and property, again very well documented and really a pleasure to read and learn more about the area. Thanks Dawn and see you again next year!!!"

"This was nite #9 of our 12 nite tour of Hawaii and having just left 6 nights at Hyatt Regency Waikiki, it was a welcome change in the hectic pace of our tour. Nice quiet safe feeling neighborhood. Well, except for the Rooster that I think was sitting on our bedroom window sill crowing his butt off at 6:00 am. But it made it feel like home since I live among many chickens. I thought about BBQing him for supper, which I could have with the Grill provided by Martie. I actually enjoyed watching the numerous free ranging chickens roaming the neighborhood while drinking my coffee and enjoying a smoke on the porch in the morning. Made it feel like home.
The cottage was just as the pictures presented on the website. It was amazing the little touches and things provided with the cottage that you wouldn`t think of being provided. Everything you need to go to the beach including boogie board with or spend a week like being home with little things you need. Pots, pans, dishes, cleaning supplies, toiletries, washer and dryer. Great bed for a couple and furniture for the house. Once we figured how to get around, the Kalapaki Beach was just mile away ,supposed to be one of the best on the island according to the locals. Dukes restaurant was right there too. 2-3 miles from the airport. Very convenient location kind of in the middle of the island main roads.
If we get a chance to go back I would definitely be looking to stay here again ! Plenty big enough for a weeks stay for a couple and maybe a couple of small children.
Thanks Martie for the stay."
