  • Awesome Vacation !

"What an absolutely exquisite retreat on the very edge of the sea! The sound of the surf lulls you to sleep after you have luxuriated on the rooftop deck under a sparkling night sky full of stars. You can have your morning coffee while gazing down at the sea, watching turtles swimming across the bay and sometimes rare monk seals sunning themselves on the sand. It's literally steps to the beautiful secluded beach, which rarely has more than a handful of people. It's easy to imagine that you are on a deserted island. In fact, the enchanting Maloaa lagoon was once the filming location for part of the famed "Gilligan's Island" series. Both Peter and Sharon are attentive and engaging hosts who have truly thought of everything. From the comfortably appointed bedrooms and kitchen, the jacuzzi bathtub, the outdoor shower, beach chairs, snorkel gear, etc., there is literally no reason to leave this magical place. But if you want to venture forth it's only a short drive to the nearest towns, the charming Hanalei (of Puff the Magic Dragon renown) and the extraordinary Na Pali coast trail. If you really like the idea of getting away from it all, this is absolutely an outstanding spot! I know I will return again....and again."

  • Amazing!

"The house was fabulous! The views were incredible from every room! The kitchen was well equipped with absolutely everything needed to prepare gourmet meals. We did enjoy the use of the bicycles for trips to pick up a few groceries and the boogie boards and picnic coolers for beach excursions. We saw whales from our outside dining area and enjoyed the albatrosses flying overhead and nesting on the boulevard. We plan on returning to Kauai and hope to rent this house again!"

  • Absolute Amazing Stay!

"My bf and I just had the most amazing stay at this condo! Communication with Lisa prior to our arrival and once we got there was fantastic! She gave us great instructions for arrival and answered all of our questions quickly. The condo is super spacious and had everything you could ever need including wifi, snorkel gear, washer & dryer in unit and a bbq grill. The kitchen was stocked with cooking condiments and we really loved the option to cook a few meals on the grill and eat there at the condo...especially with the ocean view from the dining room. I saw complaints about the bed and we checked it out when we arrived and noticed the mattress was upside down with the springs up. We flipped it to the pillow top side up and had no issues at all. The condo is in the perfect location across the street from the Westin and the beach path that goes down to Anini beach. We loved being able to head down to the beach or over to the pool quickly. There is also the Princeville shopping/dining center and Hanalei bay shopping/dinning area just up the street which offers up plenty of places to eat, rent a surfboard, kayak or paddleboard or even grab a shaved ice! I definitely wouldn't hesitate to go back and stay here again! We hope to be able to visit again soon but in the meantime I'll definitely be recommending this condo to all of my family and friends looking for a place in Kauai...top notch! Thanks again for everything Lisa!"

  • peaceful and relaxing

"We had a really nice time in this comfortable home near a lovely beach. The snorkeling was great, and we were lucky to see a monk seal on the sand one day. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well supplied. The location was convenient to Ke'e beach with great hiking, but a long drive to other sites of interest. We went to Hanalei Bay several times. The staff was helpful and easy to reach. One thing you should know is that there are wild roosters all over Kauai, and there was one living in the garden of Keiki Leo, crowing loudly for hours, starting at 4:30 AM. Some mornings were worse than others, but it woke all of us up every morning. I thought roosters crowed once at dawn then stopped-- I was wrong. they start before dawn, then keep crowing intermittently for hours, very loudly. I'm not sure what can be done about this issue, since there are so many roosters and they are protected, but if you are a light sleeper, I recommend bringing earplugs."
