  • We Should All Live Like This All the Time...

"I can't pay this home a better compliment than by saying this: If my family were to be the sort that would own a vacation home, this would be the home we would want. We stayed at this home for a full week and couldn't have been happier. First of all, the location -- right across from Anini Beach -- is stellar. Each morning, our family woke up by snorkeling at this gem of a secluded beach. While it's not private it is certainly not crowded and the snorkeling was excellent. And then to return to breakfasts out on the lanai every morning... heaven. The kitchen is well-appointed, with everything you need to make your own meals. We spent evenings lazily reading together in the "great room," and then each portion of our family retreated to our well-appointed bedrooms. The setup seemed made for our family, actually. Two young daughters slept in the bedroom with twin beds while their parents took the bedroom on that same side of the house; the matriarch of the family had privacy in her bedroom/bath on the other side of the house. Keep in mind the back yard is a huge bonus as well, usually populated with island-appropriate roosters and a neighbor's cat. If you are planning any excursions with the Princeville Ranch, or planning to tour the Botanical Gardens (both of which we also highly recommend), this property is ideally located. One note for those of you who come from more humid climates and who may be used to air conditioning in warm weather: You will not need A/C here. Between the trade winds (captured through every window's louvers) and the ceiling fans in every room, this property was completely comfortable 24/7 in August. This property's manager was very understanding when we asked questions about this issue, and we now know from experience: You do not need air conditioning on Kauai... at least when you're staying at a property as considerately built as this one. We're already dreaming about coming back someday."

  • Wonderful!

"We LOVED this house. It was perfect for my family (5 of us) and my in-laws (who stayed in the room downstairs). The location to the beach was SO easy and fun and also provided a beautiful, peaceful view. We rented a kayak, played with the beach toys that were at the house, snorkeled, relaxed on the beach...it was amazing. We were able to cook and grill many of our meals, do some necessary laundry, and really just enjoy our vacation at our own pace. We hope to return!"

  • Beautiful cottage, we loved being here

"After a busy week on Oahu, we were looking forward to immersing ourselves into Kauai's North Shore. What a perfect spot this was! First, the cottage is great (we travelled with our 2 adult kids and there was plenty of room for them to spread out), it's well designed for that location - excellent trade wind breezes through the french doors, deep porches you could enjoy even in pouring rain, dining porch screened in for bug-free dining, pretty yard very nicely landscaped with lots of fruit trees, quiet as it's set back from the street (which wasn't very busy in any case). We did meet Bill, who spent a day at the cottage (we were away that day) with the cable company and refrigerator repair person. Cable has all been replaced and there's a new router, so that issue should be completely fixed. He's a great guy, we were happy to work with him. I really liked the wood jalousie windows, hammock, rocking chairs, big grill, and the fact that you could stroll across the road to the beach. In fact, the guys walked the kayak to the water with little trouble, it's that close. My daughter was in awe at the outdoor shower. I took a couple of showers there, too, and it was wonderful!"

  • Lovely relaxing stay

"Thank you for letting us stay at your beach home. It was exactly as advertised. The very open floor plan made for a lot of space. And the view is magnificent. We were able to watch whales jump from the water while sitting and having morning coffee! And it was a real bonus to have masks/snorkels/fins for us to use at the beach. We really hated to leave."

Anini Beach Travel Tips

Explore a Tropical Paradise With Anini Beach Vacation Rentals

Anini Beach vacation rentals allow you to experience the island of Kauai like a local. You'll find rental properties in a variety of styles from Mediterranean to Plantation, so you can relax in the setting that best fits your dreams. Take in views of the Kalihiwai River Valley, the mountains, and the ocean from the privacy of your lanai. Surrounded by waterfalls, passion flowers, orchids, and fruit trees, the botanical setting encourages relaxation and exploration.

Catch a Wave at Anini Beach Beach Rentals

Anini Beach beach rentals put you within walking distance of world-famous beaches. The largest reef in Hawaii protects Anini Beach, making it a great place for children. Spend a day building sandcastles, collecting shells, or wading in the water. At low tide, explore pockets of water left by the retreating waves. Head to Kilauea Lighthouse for the chance to spot the island's wildlife. Did you forget to pack a beach towel? Beach rentals at Anini Beach often provide the linens and towels you need to enjoy the beaches. Some properties even have outdoor showers so you can leave the sand outside.

Enjoy World-Class Fun With Kauai Travel

Even though Anini Beach lets you get away from the crowds, you're only minutes away from towns and resorts. With Kauai travel, you can enjoy a day trip to a spa. If you like to golf, plan a trip to Princeville, a resort offering world-class courses. Deep-sea fishing gives you the chance to catch big-game fish—some expeditions have pulled in Pacific Blue Marlin weighing over 700 pounds! Prepare your catch in your rental's kitchen. If you prefer to watch wildlife, try your hand at kayaking. The waters around Anini Beach are populated with dolphins and sea turtles.
