"We enjoyed this trip immensely: the house was wonderful, great condition, lots of amenities including internet and lots of beach equipment and a 60 second trip to Anini Beach hard to beat! We would absolutely stay there again if we had the chance! Our two small kids loved the location and the house as well!"

"I love LOVE this little cottage. It is exactly what we needed for a peaceful, quiet, relaxing, and beautiful vacation. The views to the ocean are breath taking from the huge backyard. The master bedroom looks directly out into the ocean were we watched whales jump every morning. We used the snorkel gear stored in the garage everyday. The outside shower is a unique bonus that we don't get to take advantage of in colder climates. The cottage has a nice relaxing feel (old Hawaiian). There is this really cool ceiling to floor lamp that is so cool (reminds you of a glowing jellyfish). I can not say enough about this place. It is a hidden gem. Thank you Deborah for you speedy response and help on getting our trip planned in such a short amount of time."

"I searched for the perfect beach house in Kauai for a special family vacation to celebrate our lives together. Grandparents, parents, and grandchildren ranging in age from 5 to 22. Musts were five bedrooms, a large kitchen where we could cook together, outside dining, beach views so that my husband could watch his grandchildren swim (no road in between the house and the beach), a safe beach protected by a coral reef, access to a dialysis center, and close proximity to Hanelei and the Napali Coast where my husband and I spent a wonderful vacation more than 20 years ago. It was as though a foresighted human being created this special paradise made to order for our family - and made it available at the exact time we wanted to be there. Joanne at Kauai Island Vacations was wonderful to work with and found a company to provide a beach wheel chair - which one of her co-workers even delivered to the house for us. Grandpa was able to sit in the wheel chair at the edge of the lawn, even closer to the beach than I'd hoped, and be a part of many hours of beach time. (Note: As there are steps to the house people with disabilities will need assistance to come and go.) Summer swimming lessons paid off and our five year olds were snorkeling like pros within hours of arrival. Teenagers left FaceTime and computers behind to search for fish and swim with a sea turtle. Long dinners on the lanai were fun and festive. A trip to Ke'e beach was a wonderful picnic and snorkeling day. Sushi at Bouchons Hanalei, an upstairs restaurant with views of the mountains and waterfall, gets a thumbs up from children and grandchildren. Floating on the gentle waves at dusk to watch the clouds with brilliant colors of the sunset; at night to watch the stars, were peaceful and beautiful moments. The memories of this perfect family gathering in paradise are now a part of us and will help sustain us through more difficult times. We deeply appreciate the owners of Annini Beach House for making it available to us and to Kauai Island Vacations for their competent and attentive service. We own and manage vacation rental homes in the northern California Wine Country and know what it takes to meet the expectations of those seeking perfection in their treasured time with friends and family."

"We really liked this little cottage. Wrap around porches on three sides and one side is screened in from the bugs. It has lovely french doors all around. No air conditioning but the fans really make it pleasant. It is a few minute walk to the beach so it is very convenient. The beach is very quiet and calm. The waves break way out so it's not dangerous. We loved the outdoor shower, used it every day.
The sheets and towels could use some updating and the mattress upstairs has a metal spring sticking out of it that scratched me every time I got in and out of bed. The boogie boards were all broken and could use replacing. The neighbors behind the house were pretty creepy looking and they let their dog bark at all hours. That was a bit worrisome and annoying. All in all I probably would rent this house again even though there were a few issues."
